We were just moving from the first floor to the garage for a remodel job. This company looked good on reviews but the ones they sent - no way!
They were both inexperienced movers, not knowing how to turn furniture to get through door. They also were not strong enough to handle big pieces. This lead to severe damaged my desk (8 chunks of wood off edge); my solid oak table (edge damage again - wood torn off), and the arm of my leather couch.
This was all because they had little experience and wouldn't listen to my plea to lift over the brick doorstep instead of dragging the furniture across the bricks.
My wife heard one guy on his cell phone saying that they learn a little each time and complaining how heavy the our furniture was (and he was on his phone a lot during the two hours).
I wouldn't hire this bunch to move back into the house. I can't afford any more damage! I wonder how I can possibly recover some of the $2,000 worth of damage that was already done.

My movers worked really hard and stayed an hour extra. They took no break in four hours. I had several pieces of heavy furniture, as well as many, many boxes–two 16' PODS to unload. They were very careful with all my things. My only complaint is that they arrived with no tools to put furniture together. When I spoke with the company the day before I can't remember if I requested tools, but it did say that they had tools on their HireAHelper site. I wish the person I spoke with had asked if I needed tools. Moving is very stressful. It is hard to remember everything. I wish they had helped out in this way.

They did well in a short period of time. Told service they would be moving washer and dryer yet they didn't bring a dolly, somehow the two of them managed without. I thought they were curteous and careful

Helpers were o.k. They spent some time bickering with each other and took several breaks. They did pack the POD o.k., but there attitude with each other added to the stress of the move.

They called to say they were running late and arrived 45 minutes after the window to which they were scheduled. One of them brought his 10 year old daughter along who stayed out of the way but spent time near and on the truck that was being loaded (which made me uncomfortable).
They definitely worked hard and got the job done well (very respectful of our property and goods and pleasant to interact with). My husband was not particularly happy with the way they tied off the furniture and redid their work. There is no way to know if things would have moved around based on how they tied things down (the way my husband tied it off everything stayed perfectly in place even after a 2 day, cross-country drive).

I would give the 2 guys that did our work 5 stars. They were on time, hard working, did an outstanding job loading a 24' truck with all our big heavy stuff and then unloaded it all at the new house (and we have a LOT of heavy stuff). They didn't bang our stuff up or bang up any walls at either house. I have used this company before and I would definitely use them again. Great guys! I'm taking a star off the review because instead of a 4 man crew there were only 2 so it took all day instead of 1/2 a day.
