We are a family owned, independent moving company. We are able to provide loading, unloading, packing, unpacking or complete moves anywhere in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. We understand that often times your moving date is not flexible, whether you have a lease ending date or you sold your home with an upcoming closing date. Maybe you have a renovation scheduled or service obligations that must be fulfilled. We know it’s important that you have access to critical services that can allow you to relocate. We will assist you with meeting the date you select. Our service is intended to provide the necessary conditions for the work to be done or enable you to fulfill dedicated contracts. Fortunately, moving is considered “essential”. We recognize your need for responsible movers during any/all moves. Southwest Moving and Transport will continue our commitment to keep you safe, move you carefully, respect your situation while doing our best to provide a safe work environment for our employees. To that end, we have put I to place protocols designed to protect you and our employees which include: - Following federal and local guidelines around social distancing and sanitation - Conducting virtual surveys instead of in-home surveys, if possible, to provide estimates - Providing on-site surveys only by request and wearing gloves and masks - Frequently sanitizing trucks and equipment - Practicing social distancing with customers and as much as possible, among move teams - Wearing gloves and masks inside the home or facility where necessary - Keeping trucks stocked with hand sanitizer, soap and disinfectant - Requesting you have paper towels, soap and hand sanitizer available for our use - Praying for your move To further assist you, please let us know right away if you or anyone in your family is experiencing coronavirus symptoms. Transparency is very important for keeping everybody safe. Also, let us know if you are isolating due to exposure, since the same risk mitigating steps should be taken. We recommend not using free or recycled moving boxes if at all possible. Boxes that you already have in the home are fine. Should you need more boxes, please buy new ones. The whole idea of hiring help to pack a truck was new to me. I could not have been more pleased. They were right on time, very thoughtful to listen to what our needs were, looked around at each room, got a good idea of what to pack first and then it went very fast. They were efficient, didn't waste time, but took good care of the furnishings. They were appreciative of the packing work that we had already done and were very easy to work with. These two men were friendly and fun to work with and they got it done in a shorter time than I had estimated. I would recommend Southwest Moving & Transport for sure.

Wonderful company!! They arrived on time and worked quickly and carefully. They were also the friendliest movers we have ever worked with - joking and happy the whole time. Nothing was damaged and everything was put where we directed. Would hire them again in a second!!!!

Packed everything, nothing was broken. They were a last minute life saver. With four people only charged for two people! Only way service could have been better would have been to expedite the moving process to where it would only take and be charged for two hours. I recommend these movers.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
On-time arrival, complete walk through with customer, working and committed to getting the job completed. Friendly, hard working, respectful, men with integrity are just some of the reviews we receive!
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure everything is packed in boxes and staged in garage or rooms, spaces closest to where the loading will take place. Wether you have it all prepped and ready for us to come in or not, we meet you where you are at and help get you across the finish line.
What types of moves have you handled?
Complete residential and commercial moves with all of the packing and boxes if necessary all the way down to just moving items around on location, room/room. We have loaded/unloaded PODS, PAKRAT, CAPSULE, UHAUL, PENSKE, ABF, OD to name a few!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Providing a service the customer appreciates. Definitely like meeting new people, getting to know them. Finding opportunity to sometimes go "over and above" their expectations!
What training do you provide your crew members?
On-the-job mostly - crew members have 6mo - over 5 years experience. Owner has been doing this for 20+years. We hold classes off the job allowing crew to brush up on areas of work that need improvements.
