I got a call from the movers saying they would arrive towards the end of the 2pm-3pm window. I called to check were they were at 3:15 and found they were not sure when they would arrive. At the time, I was told that I would receive a discount for them being late.
They finally arrived at 5:15. This was so late that we couldn't complete the move and stay in the new apartment that night.
During the move they constantly complained about how long it was taking to move. I paid for two movers and a truck for two hours. They finished in 90 minutes.
I gave one of the movers a Keurig and some coffee that we were doing to donate. The owner of the moving company came out and asked me for a tip. Somebody should tell him that tips are intended for employees not company owners.
In spite of the discount promised when they didn't show up during the window. The owner told me he couldn't give me a discount because it was booked through hire-a-helper. He told me that if I booked directly with them next time, he would give me a 10% discount. He also told me not to use Hire a Helper because they charge more. I expected Hire-a-Helper to charge a premium for their service. However, when I looked at Colorado's (not) Finest Moving's web site, I found their direct rates are HIGHER than the rate I got from Hire-a-helper.
I called Hire-a-Helper about the discount. They said that it needed to come from the mover and they would call him. (So he lied to me to avoid giving me a discount for being late after it was promised). Ultimately, Colorado's Worst Mover gave me a 5% discount for being over 2 hours late and delaying the move into the evening. I called Hire-a-Helper back. They agreed that it was poor customer service and an insufficient discount so Hire-a-Helper gave me a discount to make up for the poor service and customer service provided by Colorado's Worst Mover.
Oh did I mention that the owner of the moving company asked for a tip after they arrived more than two hours late, didn't give me a promised discount, complained the entire time and I gave them an almost new Keurig + coffee? Not to mention the fact that tips are intended for employees in a service business - the owner of a company should not be asking for a tip.

Roger and Colby did a great job loading and packing our household items into our 16 foot pod. They had it loaded and efficiently packed in 2 hours. They were pleasant, skilled and worked hard.

The 2 guys showed up on time and were very polite. However, they were VERY SLOW workers. It took them 3 hours to load my belongings. It has never taken any movers that long to load my belongings (and I’ve gotten rid of a ton of furniture since my last move). My things were moved to a secure storage facility and I understand there is so slow down time with the elevator. However, I also found out they were not using their dolly equipment to move the many boxes quickly. Finally, while they knew how to load a truck, they took no care what so ever in loading my storage unit. Even though, there was plenty of room, they failed to stack the many boxes up, when left little room for my couch. So instead of my couch being on its feet, they had the couch one end down, the other up. By then, they had already eaten up 6 hours doing a job that should have taken 3 hours so I didn’t have them rearrange the boxes . This was not professional behavior. I will not use HireAHelper again. And I will not recommend them.

Best moving experience ever! If I could give 10 stars I would. They showed up exactly on time and hustled. They were friendly and cheerful and handled everything with care.
Take any bad reviews with a grain of salt. The communication was fantastic and all expectations were made clear. If you do your part and provide accurate info they move goes perfectly.
(Also their shoes matched their shirts perfectly which was just fun and also showed that they pay attention to detail. ??)

I messed up and gave the wrong phone number so the movers couldn’t reach me. They movers claimed to have knocked on the door but I was sitting in the apartment all morning and heard nothing. We saw a car outside around 9:15am and went outside to peek in and go to our moving truck to make it clear we were the ones moving (the truck was right outside our place), but the ppl in the car didn’t say anything or get out so we assumed it wasn’t them. Finally at 10:40am I called (they were supposed to show between 9-10am) and they claimed they had knocked. The movers fortunately came back at 11am and completed the job in 30 minutes (still within our Hire a Helper time frame!). We tipped the movers well (even though they didn’t do a great job getting our attention initially), and the company still wanted to charge me an additional $150. I know both parties are at fault but I don’t think their company dealt with the miscommunication well.

We are super happy with Colorado’s Finest Moving! They did arrive a little late to start our move, but they were in contact with us and updated us on their timeline. As soon as they arrived they were HUSTLING the entire time. Both guys worked extremely quickly and they were super careful and mindful of our stuff. They were smart about how they carried our items (heavy boxes versus fragile items) and packed the truck extremely well! We were extremely impressed with how hard they worked the entire time. They stayed late to finish our job. They were courteous, fun & friendly. Would absolutely use Colorado’s Finest again and recommend to anyone!

Super friendly! Excellent job! Arrived on time and got right to work. Helpful with last minute and didn't stop working the whole time and got us done in under the time we estimated with 2 stops! Highly recommend!!!

Make sure all boxes are sealed and labeled. And that they have a plan on where all the furniture will be placed in new home. Also don’t forgot to transfer all utilities over to new address.
