Gabriel and his moving partner helped me unload stuff from my POD container earlier this year, and into my apartment in El Paso :) ! I was really grateful that they were the same 2 guys who helped me to load my POD container last month :D !
Prior to arriving at my apartment complex for my move in June, they were tied up with a huge move job for a family that needed stuff moved out of their house. Because that move involved so much stuff, Gabriel and his partner ended up spending a good 6 hours helping that family move when it was supposed to be a 3-hour labor job.
So because they were bogged down by that huge move, they could not come on time to my apartment complex for the 2 pm slot I had booked. But this was not their fault. Gabriel communicated really well, and texted me updates, even though both his and his partner's hands were extremely full with the huge move that they had to do prior to helping me move.
I learned from this that I probably should book a morning slot next time so that, in case a bigger move assignment happens to be booked for the same day, at least I would have the morning slot.
When Gabriel and his partner came by my apartment complex around 5:30 pm, I could tell they were understandably extremely exhausted and burnt out. But they were very professional, courteous and friendly, and got to work right away to load my stuff into my POD container as quickly and as efficiently as they could. They were extremely careful with my fragile items as well.
Unfortunately, due to POD delivery issues before back in February 2024, I had to ask the POD driver this time to drop off the POD container on the opposite side of the apartment complex. It was a huge bummer because it's a lot more work for the moving guys to have to transport everything to the opposite side of the complex.
However, I had informed Gabriel about this ahead of time so that he would be aware. He and his partner were really great sports about this situation, said this wasn't uncommon, and that they were accustomed to these kinds of situations.
Both guys were such excellent and hardworking movers :D ! I would highly recommend them to my friends and family because they are very dependable, relable, professional, and they are extremely respectful and careful with your items :) !
