Sitter’s Movers are the best! They arrived on time, walked through the house with me to see what was a priority for us, and then got to it. We really appreciate their attention to detail, the way the used care to wrap and pack the items that were fragile. The crew was respectful, fun, and amazingly, never seemed to get tired or slow down.

Sitter's movers did an amazing job moving me out of my old apartment. They were quick and efficient and showed up exactly when expected/anticipated. I had a flight of stairs which made it a little more difficult, but nothing they were unable to manage. Very professional and had all the equipment necessary to make the move go smoothly. (I did provide my own moving blankets and packing film.)
I did have a minor issue when they called me up two days before my move to indicate they had an issue with my order. We got it all worked out and they honored their commitments. However, the last minute anxiety was upsetting. I had booked a month in advance and they hadn't called at any point in time during that month to express concerns.

Cant sing the praises of Sitter's movers enough. They were on time, friendly and very efficient for my loading job (moving out of state). My truck was expertly packed and not one thing broke on the trip. If I ever move back to San Diego, i'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

The team was very accommodating and willing to work around last-minute restrictions of my apartment complex regarding the POD delivery to the building. The movers were very efficient with their time management and were also prepared with equipment to move furniture in the quickest and safest way possible within my 2-hour reservation window. What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We will contact you via text and email within 24 hours of booking your order to acknowledge receipt and introduce ourselves. We will also call you two business days prior to the move to discuss the details of your move and answer any questions and/or instructions you have for us. You are welcome to reach out to us as much as you like to!
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We will be on time. To be early is to be on time and our guys aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time to perform a walk through with you.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
We will send you an email within 24 hours after booking a move with the best recommendations we have learned to offer over the many years we have been moving professionally.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have not seen it all (not sure that's possible). But we have seen a lot: tiny moves, entire furnished apartments buildings completely changed out, junk removal, billionaires with high-end homes, professional athletes, homeless (hey, they have stuff too and sometimes, ya just gotta help somebody), office moves, cross-country, international...the list goes on.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I started doing this because I wanted to get paid to work out. I'm still doing this because I find tremendous joy in serving people in a part of life that is often pretty stressful. It's very satisfying to tangibly see the work you've accomplished for someone else. Meeting new people, spending a lot of the day outside, seeing new parts of town are all pretty cool too :)
What training do you provide your crew members?
All of our crew are background checked and carefully screened. A crew member is required to have a minimum of 40 hours of on-the-job training prior to working for our customers.

We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 2 hours over the prebooked time.
