So glad I decided to use Hire A Helper to book Sitter's Movers! Matt and Kenny were awesome. They showed up early, ready to work, and they took great care of my stuff. I'd never hired movers before, but it was such a relief to not have to worry about moving all the heavy stuff. I would definitely hire them again and will recommend them to my family and friends in SoCal.

The two guys Anthony sent over to help my husband unload our Penske were great. They were even a few minutes early and then patiently waited while my husband rushed back after weighing the truck. The guys were super friendly and put boxes/furniture wherever we asked them. I would definitely recommend using Sitter Movers! Anythony was professional and kind on the phone, too. 5stars!

I would've never been able to maximize my moving POD without them! The manager called when we booked, before the move, and during the move to answer questions or concerns. We boxed up most of our stuff to save time. They disassembled and padded furniture, boxed up paintings, and had everything staged pretty quickly. The real challenge was fitting it into the POD safely. If you're doing the labor-only rate make sure you have enough supplies. They had to work miracles with what I had on hand. Attentive, friendly, and efficient!

The crew was on time and ready to go. They had their own dollies & plastic wrap. They worked very hard-we had a lot of boxes and it was a hot day. They were very easy to get along with and had some useful suggestions. Just about every inch of the pod was used. Hopefully we can get the same crew back in a few weeks when we fill the next one.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We will contact you via text and email within 24 hours of booking your order to acknowledge receipt and introduce ourselves. We will also call you two business days prior to the move to discuss the details of your move and answer any questions and/or instructions you have for us. You are welcome to reach out to us as much as you like to!
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We will be on time. To be early is to be on time and our guys aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time to perform a walk through with you.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
We will send you an email within 24 hours after booking a move with the best recommendations we have learned to offer over the many years we have been moving professionally.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have not seen it all (not sure that's possible). But we have seen a lot: tiny moves, entire furnished apartments buildings completely changed out, junk removal, billionaires with high-end homes, professional athletes, homeless (hey, they have stuff too and sometimes, ya just gotta help somebody), office moves, cross-country, international...the list goes on.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I started doing this because I wanted to get paid to work out. I'm still doing this because I find tremendous joy in serving people in a part of life that is often pretty stressful. It's very satisfying to tangibly see the work you've accomplished for someone else. Meeting new people, spending a lot of the day outside, seeing new parts of town are all pretty cool too :)
What training do you provide your crew members?
All of our crew are background checked and carefully screened. A crew member is required to have a minimum of 40 hours of on-the-job training prior to working for our customers.

We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 2 hours over the prebooked time.
