Anthony moved around quite a bit during his time in the military (literally all over the world) and felt he could better serve customers from a place of understanding the stresses involved. Kenny and Charlie were friendly and helpful. We had a pretty difficult move with lots of stuff to put into limited space, and they worked their best to make it happen! Also the owner called me prior to the move to answer all of my questions. Would use them again if I am ever back in San Diego!

Sitter's Movers were EXCELLENT! They were on time and prepared. My apartment isn't the easiest to access, and they did a great job finding it and getting situated. During the job, they worked incredibly hard, even running down the hallway to move more stuff more quickly. They were respectful towards my property and my relatives, who were in town to support. I would absolutely use them again, without a doubt.

Great experience with Anthony, Matt and the crew. We had so much stuff to fit in our POD, I was worried it wouldn't all fit. They had the great idea to breakdown our desks so that we could fit it all in and they had the tools to do that for us. It all fit in so nicely that we even had some extra room. Very professional, hard working group of guys. I spoke with Anthony a couple of times before the move. He made this process very easy and stress free for us.

Tony and Kenny both arrived early with smiles on their faces. They were very friendly and very professional. They worked very hard moving furniture within my home that needed to be rearranged. They were extremely respectful of me, my home, and my property. Good hard workers are difficult to find, but they far exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend them!

I needed help moving some larger items into my new home in San Diego. I've moved a good amount over the past few years and from start to finish, Sitter's Movers was the best experience I've had. Anthony and his team were professional, courteous, punctual, and great movers. Anthony reached out after booking to gain a better understanding of the move and after hearing what I needed (only needed one person to assist with larger items), he assigned Matt to help with the move. Matt came early and was a workhorse. He was able to quickly tackle moving the larger, heavier items with time to spare. We had some difficulty fitting in a large sofa through the staircase, so he figured out a way to haul it over the balcony. Impressive to say the least. He also didn't waste any time and insisted on working every minute of the reserved time. After the move, Anthony called to make sure everything went ok. These guys made moving a breeze and quick. Really appreciate the help and would recommend them to anyone needing help with their move.

I can't say enough about the wonderful experience we had with Sitter's Movers. Anthony was a pleasure to work with before, during and after the move. Day of, we had the pleasure of working with Kenny and Charlie. Both were incredibly kind, professional and efficient. They not only helped with some heavy pieces but also expertly put our bed and crib together. These were not simple tasks. I highly recommend Sitter's Movers and will certainly give them a call for any future moves.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?

We will contact you via text and email within 24 hours of booking your order to acknowledge receipt and introduce ourselves. We will also call you two business days prior to the move to discuss the details of your move and answer any questions and/or instructions you have for us. You are welcome to reach out to us as much as you like to!

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

We will be on time. To be early is to be on time and our guys aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time to perform a walk through with you.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

We will send you an email within 24 hours after booking a move with the best recommendations we have learned to offer over the many years we have been moving professionally.

What types of moves have you handled?

We have not seen it all (not sure that's possible). But we have seen a lot: tiny moves, entire furnished apartments buildings completely changed out, junk removal, billionaires with high-end homes, professional athletes, homeless (hey, they have stuff too and sometimes, ya just gotta help somebody), office moves, cross-country, international...the list goes on.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

I started doing this because I wanted to get paid to work out. I'm still doing this because I find tremendous joy in serving people in a part of life that is often pretty stressful. It's very satisfying to tangibly see the work you've accomplished for someone else. Meeting new people, spending a lot of the day outside, seeing new parts of town are all pretty cool too :)

What training do you provide your crew members?

All of our crew are background checked and carefully screened. A crew member is required to have a minimum of 40 hours of on-the-job training prior to working for our customers.
