We painted our apartment before we moved in and the last thing we wanted to was touch up scuff marks. The team from The Moving Guides was on time, fast, courteous and very careful. Tight halfway, stairwell, entranceway and interior doorway and not a single mark on the walls - incredible.

The Moving Guides were GREAT! They arrived 30 minutes BEFORE scheduled. I had them wait until the time I reserved because of restrictions on my building's loading dock, and they were happy to wait. They worked hard and got all my stuff out in the allotted time. They were very friendly and cordial. They moved everything exactly how I wanted it, safely, and in the order I wanted. I could not have asked for a better move.

I would most definitely recommend The Moving Guides. We had Tony and Tony- and they were amazing. They arrived on time(actually a little early), moved all of our furniture and boxes within the 2 hour time, assembled a bed frame, refolded all the moving blankets, and were very fast, careful, and efficient. Above all they were very courteous and pleasant to be around.

Absolutely wonderful experience!! I definately recommend the moving guides for all moving needs. The gentlemen that I spoke with on the phone were educated, helpful, and displayed the best customer service I've experienced with a company. The movers were prompt, got to work right away, and were very thorough and helpful. We had our belongings delivered by PODs and the whole company worked with us and our changing schedules.

The two gentleman were on-time, very personable and got the job done in a very timely and professional manner.
They had a cart and dolley which allowed them to get through all the boxes (20+) and furniture in two hours on the money. They worked continuously through those two hours with no breaks except for drinks.
They handled everything with care; however the only complaint I had is that they did break a file cabinet by trying to pick it up by the drawer's pull out handle and never said a word. If they would have told us that would have been fine as my wife wanted to get rid of it. They actually did us a favor. The thing is they weren't up front about it, only negative thing that occurred everything else went great.
I would use the Moving Guides again, no doubt about it. With one caveat, that if anything happens, don't sweat it, just let us know.

I don't think I have ever had movers come early but The Moving Guides were about twenty minutes early. The two men were polite, hardworking and finished in the two hours I had booked. I would certainly hire from this company again.

Let me start by saying that the guys they sent to help us move our stuff into our townhouse were polite and on time. They even adjusted to our change in time based on the arrival of our POD.
We were less than satisfied for a few reasons.
First, it appeared that the two-man team had not been doing this type of work for a very long time. Having been in the Military and moved many times, I would not consider them "professional movers". The pair of them did not seem to know how to negotiate difficult requirements such as multiple flights of stairs with tight corners. They "dinged and scratched" our freshly painted walls, ceilings and furniture at least a dozen times. They were in too much of a hurry and did not think through how they were going to negotiate our stairs. One of the movers was trying to be careful....the other one was was not. They frequently got irritated with each other.
At one point, they decided to lift our two box springs and bed frame over our deck railing and through our dining room. The idea was good, but you don't drag cherry furniture over a railing "finished side down" and scratch it up. This should be common sense.
My suggestion would be to send an experienced mover with a novice mover to avoid such instances.
