The guys deserve a higher grade than a 5. Moe and David deserve a 10! We could not be more pleased with the job they did. They were so pleasant, accommodating and professional. They are a great credit to the company and I would be requesting them again should we need help with moving. They are just the best!!!!

Moe & David were incredible. Helped me unload to massive storage unites into my pod within the allotted time. They took great care in packing my belongings. Tetris masters when it came to packing the pod to the brim! I truly couldn’t have done it without them! Six stars if I could!!

I booked M&M movers (Morris Tager, et. Al.) On either January 3 or January 4, 2023 via Hire a Helper portal. Since I lived in an extremely rural area that other competing companies don't service, I had two options. I selected M&M movers. I noticed on the web portal, several hours later, "they" (whoever it was to me at the time, unknown), had "ACCEPTED" the job. M&M movers were to moving from my SOURCE--"moving from" address. I had lined up yet another company (via Hire A Helper, of course) to my destination address. I will briefly state, unrelated to M&M movers, that this dishonest man tried to literally steal M&M's business, and have me pay him cash under-the-table, all in the guise of being a "one stop shop". I didn't fall for this ploy, for if I did, all Hire A Helper protections, rules, and protocol (where few there seem to be, in hindsight) would be totally lost. I cancelled my order with that dishonest man, and when he came calling, let's just say things were NOT pretty. He was firmly told never to call again with legal action being taken. BACK TO M&M. Morris, "MO", DID NOT take immediate initiative to call me, as said offending dishonest destionation unloader did. Rather I let two days pass, then took it upon my own volition to phone him. I found him rather barbed to deal with, specifically meaning he had his set ideas, and was unwilling to budge. Talking to him was not comfortable. Hereindefined as he dominated the conversation. FINALLY we got to business and I was bloody honest, and told him EXACTLY what I had in my apartment, and that I had a small, 5x10ft storage shed, neatly stacked--only two boxes high (when he interrupted to ceiling) I said NO, *everything* is contained within Large Uhaul boxes. Look on Uhaul's website for dimensions--they're there. Boxes are only stacked two-high. I reasoned with him that he is charging $467 for 2 hours, whilst my destination crew hired through another company (foreshadowing: They were 95% more professional and harder working, and only charged $180, coming from Manchester, 1.5hrs, same distance as Mo and team, but only charging $180). is charging $180. Mo stated that I've been in this business a lot longer than others. I bring 3 men, not just 2, I make sure everything is done right". At this point I was satisfied with Mo, he seemed like an honest Mate. I then posed the question: "As antecedently mentioned, I have my 5x10 storage shed with said items. Shouldn't take longer then 10 minutes to load up, maximum, furthermore, it's on our route for you to go home, and for me to head to my destination, as we previously discussed. I said "SINCE it is on Route, and SINCE I have about the amount of a Studio apartment in belongings, which should not take long, what, perhaps 1hr and 10mins?" He said he was not sure. I said there should be ample time to pack my apartment and then drive the 26 minutes or 24 miles down to my storage facility. I'm asking now, definitively, would you please load up my storage shed? It took me all of about 15 minutes to stack it 2 years ago. "... and this point Mo CLEARLY stated "Yeah, as long as it's on the route and we're not going over 2 hours I have no problems with that". Fast forward to Move day: January 9, 2023: They were 15-17 minutes late. Asked them where they travelled from. A guy stated Augusta (Maine). I asked: Which of you is Morris, and who are the rest of you?". Morris introduced himself as Mo, other introduced themselves. Shook their hands. Mo entered my apartment and said (in front of my mother, who was writing down the exact time they arrived) "Well you weren't lying, this really is ONLY a Studio apartment full, probably less". I took mild offence to that statement. After all, why should I lie to him? either way, he'd push to charge me more money. Short story is, They got it loaded in 1hr 27 mins. Youngest 18yr old inside busting his tail while Mo self-aggrandized himself to me incessantly and gave me HIS business cards to put in our Apartment community room. He can do it his bloody self. When it came time to depart, We arrived at storage facility. I TIMED with my iPhone Stopwatch. Took crew 6 minutes to load up. THEN "MO" Pushed me to add 30 minutes. Not knowing either we'd gone over 2 hrs, I placated him and entered such on the server app my client iPHone connects to. $125 I said? and he nodded. Once I got home, and said destination movers showed up, ON TIME, NO ATTITUDE, MUCH HARDER WORKING THAN MO. Mo just WAITED for boxes to stack. Yet he has the gaul to charge $467 whereas this other moving service only charged me $180 for two guys from Manchester, NH who were much more professional and LIKEABLE and didn't GO BACK ON THEIR word like MO. I had to fight HireAHelper to get my $125 back after going to Calculator.net and entering exact Arrival and departure times. THey were "over" by 9 minutes!! ONLY 9 MINUTES!! I HAVE THE PROOF!! and MO WANTED TO CHARGE ME $125+DO NOT GO WITH HIM
