DO NOT HIRE THIS SERVICE
My grandfather passed away and we were packing and distributing his estate to his heirs and great grandchildren in California. While still grieving, and having to do this quickly due to the house being sold faster than we expected and such a short timeline and deadline. So dealing with extra issues only made more stress to say the least ....to start off we noticed pretty quickly that we did not get any value for what we were overcharged.
The 2 guys they sent were not efficient and tried to load the truck very spread out and claimed they were done 45 min ahead of schedule because there wasn't any room left in the 16 foot moving truck that we had to repack properly after they were gone, to fit everything they claimed couldn't fit which was an additional 2 rooms and we still had Xtra space when we did it properly ourselves. We paid 450.00 to this service to have 2 movers for 2 hours and the 2 movers said they only get paid 40 dollars total each for the 2 hour job so it's no wonder they didn't want to work hard. But the bigger problem is they ended up stealing a collector car collection they had asked me to sell to them but I declined because it was sentimental and it was to be passed down to one of the grandsons and they actually stole part of the collection on their way out the door while distracting me . And when they said they only get a measly 40 bucks each out of 450.00 $ made me feel bad for them so I gave them both a more than hefty tip each and 3 brand new rc remote control cars worth over 750.00 combined and they seemed grateful but to down right rob us of something we clearly declined to agree on is sickening and beyond disappointing. Not to mention destroys any value the collection had as a complete set when they took only part of it .And shame on this company to have the audacity of lining their greedy pockets without so much as caring to send reputable people that are trustworthy should be criminal offense. This company has not one ounce of integrity or moral ethics to protect their customers. What they stand for is robbing people of their money in exchange for nothing of quality or value and are actually putting people in vulnerable position that is harmful and potentially dangerous Too greedy to guarantee trustworthy movers with integrity and no criminal background that could easily be checked using a fraction of a overpriced 450 bucks they charge but instead rob the people sent to do the actual labor. Its no wonder they would rob the customer to compensate for being underpaid and robbed by the biggest theif in this criminal organization. We intend to pursue further action to make sure this swiftly gets resolved to remedy the experience and stress this has caused us. Partial refund to satisfy the less than quality service and unexperienced movers we were overcharged for would be satisfactory at the least and morally proper thing to do from your company and what we are seeking.

We want to address some of the points raised in your review. We understand that you were concerned about the efficiency of the move and the condition of the service provided. To clarify, the team was sent to assist with packing and moving a 1946 sq ft home into a 16' truck. During the move, our team communicated that a larger truck was required to fit all of the items, especially larger items such as lawn mowers. However, we understand that due to the urgency of the situation, there were some constraints regarding time and available space.

Additionally, the order was booked via a third-party platform, and the payment made does not go directly to our company. The rate of $20 per hour per mover is standard in our area and above the average pay for movers locally, which we believe reflects the effort our team puts into their work.

Regarding the serious accusations of theft, we take these matters with the utmost seriousness. All of our team members undergo thorough background checks before being assigned to any jobs. Both of the crew members involved in your move have denied any wrongdoing, and they confirm that you did, in fact, gift them remote control cars, which they were grateful for. However, the allegation of a stolen collector's car collection was not previously mentioned, and there seems to be a discrepancy in your review, as the third-party platform reports a stolen baseball card collection, not a car collection. This is the first time we've been made aware of any claim regarding a car collection, and we take these allegations seriously.

We have conducted an internal investigation into this matter, and both crew members continue to deny taking anything. If you have further details or evidence regarding the alleged theft, we encourage you to contact us directly so that we can work with the appropriate authorities to resolve this issue.

The Best! The men showed up on time, were friendly and asked questions so the move would go smoothly. They were kind, careful and respectful of our home, furniture and boxes to be moved. They were so great that when we needed items loaded the next week we requested them again! Always great to have movers that are nice and engaging when undertaking the very stressful and hectic task of moving. Thanks guys - you were outstanding !

Charles and Jarrell were professional and pleasant. They listened to my requests and followed everything I asked for. Then they got the 2-bedroom duplex loaded in very quick order (2 hours). All my things were carefully packed and secured and arrived with no problems. I would totally recommend using Get It Done to anyone, and Hire A Helper where they are listed.

CJ & Mall,
They were FABULOUS!!! They were polite, listened and SPEEDY!!! I had a Large POD 12ft w X 16ft. They had that empty and asking if there was anything else before we GO. I would DEFINITELY ask for them again. However I hope I won’t be moving anytime SOON!!! ??
