Pro's: 1) The four guys who did the work were hard workers, and easy to work with
Con's: I was expecting experienced packers/movers with the tools to do the job. That expectation was not met at all. Three of the guys were obviously good hard workers, but inexperienced packers/movers, and the one experienced person was not able to provide appropriate oversight and direction. Everything was rushed (on my side, I wish I had contracted for 6 hours instead of 4 so that they were not so rushed - my learning). They did not bring ANY tools (no screw drivers to dismantle furniture, no green squishy stuff to wrap blankets to furniture - nothing). I am concerned about the status of the furniture -- we will see when we unload the POD. I called the owner, John Swander, All Around Movers, the next day to give him some constructive feedback he could use for future clients. It was a very unpleasant and unproductive call. He "was busy, what do you want", had an attitude, and simply replied on every point to me why everything was cool as opposed to listening to my input. At the end he hung up on me. These guys can load a POD like nobody's business! They will get you your money's worth if you're trying to get as much stuff as possible into a storage unit.
The owner called ahead of time to help clarify my needs, and then stepped in himself when one of his team members had an emergency to complete my move on time. He is committed to serving customers and I really appreciated his transparency and honesty.

The crew did the job I needed with time to spare. They also handled everything well without damaging anything. They were loading a container for us, and did an all around fantastic job. I'd hire them again.

The service was sufficiently done, but I could have done without the complaining about how tired they were from the work they did the night before. That’s not my fault. I was also told multiple times how for future notice it would be really helpful if I disassembled the furniture before the movers got there. Then why would I hire full-service movers? When they finished he told me he wouldn’t charge me for the few minutes over the 2 hours they took. I already paid for 3 hours! As the owner, his response was, “ohh, I thought you had 2 hours, you know you don’t get a refund? You should always book 2 hours.” Thanks! Whatever, it got done, just aggravating.

They were supposed to arrive between 9 and 10 and called twice with delays, finally arriving at 11:30. They said they could unload a 26 foot truck in 2 hours but after three hours (with me carrying in boxes too), they didn’t get it all done. One mover was clearly the leader and was strong and polite but the other mover looked like he was going to pass out and kept taking breaks. They weren’t bad but I’d probably use another company next time.

To me the 3 men sent to unload our POD seemed to be very inexperienced. It was a horrible experience. I would not recommend.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We send out a text to every customer (it may take a day or so but you will receive it before your move) it requires them answer each question as it’s very important! If we don’t immediately reach out to you please don’t get worried, we stay busy and it’s our promise to get every customer taken care of with with the respect and full attention on the items they cherish. If we can’t get to the phone if you call, plz respect that we are giving a customer our full attention as we will give you on your move day!
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Passion for what we do! A crew that will handle their belongings as if it were their grandmothers prized possessions, respect, trustworthy men that move really fast and the knowledge to get the job done and take every stress off the customers back!
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Have labeled boxes is a plus, everything packed and ready to be loaded, make sure we have a clear walkway to and from the truck (it’s a hazard and danger to your belongings and to the crew members), please trust we know how to load a truck and no instructions are appreciated.

The smile and comfort we see after a job is complete the stress just melts from the once tense customer to now a moved, loaded, or unloaded happy customer! Our number one goal is satisfaction and we strive everyday to make every customer feel this way
What training do you provide your crew members?
We have an in hand in the field training. We always bring a new guy of course he is an extra guy the customer does not pay for but what better way to train a man, you can’t teach moving you have to experience it. And to be a great mover you have to have passion and again you can’t teach passion you either have it or you don’t! We can’t see or know unless we put them inside the field!

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.

We do not refund for any unused time.

We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
