The workers did the job well, with minor damage and no masks. With that said, the say before, the moving company owner called to ask if I could do them a favor and have the guys come in the evening because they are local doing another job. I agreed, trying to be nice, and waited over three hours from their time frame. It was getting dark and late so I told the guys to put the bedroom furniture in the first floor bedroom and leave everything else in the garage. They were done in an hour and left. I paid for stair service and when I said this to the owner, he said I already paid, so no refunds. So, I obliged the owner and workers, waited for three hours, paid for two hours of work and got one, and paid for stair service that I did myself the next day. I will never hire this company or hire a helper again.

They were fine. The supervisor was very experienced, and packed our truck very well. The guys didn't break anything, but overall they were slow and didn't look like they worked for a moving company. We've hired other companies that have matching shirts or something, whereas most of these guys weren't even wearing belts, so were constantly pulling up their pants. The job took an extra hour, which I was fine to pay for, but one of the guys barely did anything, so I doubt it really should have gone over.

The crew leader called the day they were scheduled and asked if they could start an hour earlier than scheduled to arrive. I allowed it but it made it difficult for us to be ready for them.
Once here, the crew of three worked hard to unload the container and finished in exactly two hours. Based on how long it had taken my other crew to pack the container, I had changed my order to add another hour to be sure this crew had plenty of time to unpack. My husband and I helped by unwrapping several smaller pieces of their cellophane and blankets.
My husband and I are nearly 70. After the crew left, we were quite dismayed to find, among several other unwrapped awkward and heavy items, a large, nine drawer dresser still completely wrapped in blankets and cellophane. It was very difficult for us to lift and unwrap.
These are things the crew had an hour of PAID time left to finish up and not leave for us to do. There was also a three piece desk/shelving unit that, once put together, they did not check to be sure it was placed exactly where we wanted it. Now we have to get help to move it. There were also two two-piece items that were not fastened together. Something my husband had to do after they had left.
Even though they worked steadily and quickly, I wish they had used the three hours they were paid for to do a more complete job.

Yes they arrived on time.
They did not confirm the move till the night before. Now, moving is stressful as it is especially an out of state move. We think it was unprofessional to not confirm till the night prior.
Two guys showed up. The lead mover had an ear piece in and on his phone the ENTIRE time. I did not know if he was speaking to us or someone else. Not very professional AT ALL. He was not very nice either
His helper did not grasp direction or me explaining which rooms things went to. He kept getting confused between the two bedrooms. It was frustrating.
I paid for three hours and they finished in two. Since you have to pay for the three I asked the lead to fold all the moving blankets and put them in the truck. He did not seem happy at all but did. Come on, your getting an hour w no work. He did not ask if there was anything we needed at the end. Rude and not professional.
A few hours after they left we noticed 3 damages to walls. We just moved into a newly built brand new home. They did not tell us about the damage of course. Again unprofessional. Now I have to spend more money to fix their mess.
That same day I was cleaning the furnature and wow they really dug up our bedroom dresser and again no heads up. I look at our couch and a corner was whipped. Again he never mentioned it.
Do not use these folks to move your belongings in The Nashville area. I will not recommend them to anyone.
Never again will I use HireAHelper either. Vet your clients better. I don’t know what the answer is but I’m so mad my home and belongings were damaged. Shame on you all.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We send out a text to every customer (it may take a day or so but you will receive it before your move) it requires them answer each question as it’s very important! If we don’t immediately reach out to you please don’t get worried, we stay busy and it’s our promise to get every customer taken care of with with the respect and full attention on the items they cherish. If we can’t get to the phone if you call, plz respect that we are giving a customer our full attention as we will give you on your move day!
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Passion for what we do! A crew that will handle their belongings as if it were their grandmothers prized possessions, respect, trustworthy men that move really fast and the knowledge to get the job done and take every stress off the customers back!
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Have labeled boxes is a plus, everything packed and ready to be loaded, make sure we have a clear walkway to and from the truck (it’s a hazard and danger to your belongings and to the crew members), please trust we know how to load a truck and no instructions are appreciated.

What training do you provide your crew members?
We have an in hand in the field training. We always bring a new guy of course he is an extra guy the customer does not pay for but what better way to train a man, you can’t teach moving you have to experience it. And to be a great mover you have to have passion and again you can’t teach passion you either have it or you don’t! We can’t see or know unless we put them inside the field!
