The guys from Best Movers arrived early, finished the job in less than the estimated time, were most respectful of all items involved in a less than well prepared moving job, were optimistic and cheerful which was most helpful in an already very stressful situation, and I would definitely use them again if I ever have the misfortune of having to arrange another move.

I had a POD with a bedroom set and about 45 boxes and a living room chair and a tall 72 inch tall Amoire that was part of the bedroom set.The day my move was scheduled it rained all day like crazy. I wanted to reschedule and “Shawn “ gave me a hard time . He kept saying this is Florida ! I’m like yeah I understand but the POD is a little far from the Enterance of the building and I don’t want my stuff to get soaking wet. The crew called me later and they said they would like to reschedule bc of the rain. Then Sawn was nice enough to reschedule it on Monday. He said they don’t work on Sunday’s . Monday the guys that came to move me took them 3 hrs to move 45 boxes and bedroom set. They could not get the armoire in the elevator it was too tall, they were also not willing to take it up the stairs . To be honest there were 6 flights with 8 steps on each flight. There was a small exit box that lights up in the middle of the entryway of the elevator that prevented it from clearing . I called the elevator company to remove it. They came but were not able to remove it . So I had to reschedule for the 2 hr minimum $269! I aske Shawn for a break and he said no. I called the 800 number and they gave me $69 discount. When the guys came to move my armoire the next day, they came prepared! They had these orange straps and they strapped it and walked it into the elevator without a problem . It took them 20 min to get it upstairs and into my apt. I was so pissed! The first group of guys need training! They were a bunch of whimps! The second crew were much more savy, flexible and cooperative. I asked for another discount, I got another $39 off the move. Also , the second crew told me they would have taken it up the stairs if it would not have fit in the elevator ! Shawn was a little inflexible too on the phone, kind of condescending. His whole additude was one of “Im doing you a favor “ . I felt so helpless! What a rat! Learn some customer service Shawn! Lesson : take no crap!
