As I suspected and put a hold on my debit card because of,
my dealings with 09/15/2016 VISA HIREAHELPER.COM 800-
995-5003, CA #0000 $399.00 were fraudulent.
I hired these movers for 4 hours. I initially thought I could
unload two pods in one day, but Pods would not deliver two
together, one a day only. So I called the movers and asked if
that was ok. They said yes. I also agreed that anytime over
that 4 hr agreement would be paid at $65 hr. We agreed.
They preauthorized the $399 above and at the end of two
hours/first day, insisted I authorize their minimum payment. I
had them promise on text and a recording that they would
return Thursday, Sept 15th for the second two hours. Not only did
they not show up, they turned their phones off. I have
attached: 1. text showing agreement, 2. email confirmation of
agreement 3. a recording of the mover agreeing to come the
next day - he knew I was recording him and said he would be
back. Sean, the manager wanted me to, at the end of the first
day, pay $100 extra to move a small upright piano, which
when asked about pianos AT THE TIME OF BOOKING, told Bridget I had one. Her quote of
$399 was after I told her I had a small piano on wheels and a
heavy mattress. There was no special additional price for the
piano. NOTE: THIS IS A MOVERS' SCAM!! BE SURE ANYTHING ABOUT A PIANO IS MENTIONED ON THE INVOICE NOT VERBALLY ALONE.The manager was mad when I would not pay extra for
this and instead I got a neighbor to help me, who also helped
me the second day when they did not show up. My bank has taken up the dispute. These guys promise anything and take the money and run.

Mario and his team at Best Movers just finished packing my two 16" Pods. I was amazed at the very fine way they packed my belongings and the time it took. They finished early and dodged the rain so nothing got wet. These guys are Pros. Hire a Helper was also great from start to finish. Use them if your are in need. Fairly priced and you get what you pay for and then some.

Mario and Tim were the BEST professional movers I have ever seen. No phone calls; no breaks; just working in this horrible humidity for three hours. They were on time and answered all my questions. If they were not sure a piece of furniture was being moved, they checked with me. Such energy, such politeness and such manners! They will soon be supervising others!
