It is really difficult to start this review because the service was good and bad at the same time. The gentlemen from D. Law were very nice. They called ahead, confirmed the desired arrival time, showed up on time, and were very courteous to me and my family all the time. They noticed that we were behind on our packing work and helped us to wrap the furniture. I really hoped for a better review, but as rating 2/5 says, I had problems with their service, because loading the container was another story. The unacceptable part is that, even though I had blankets available, they consistently left wood furniture on direct contact with the floor, to the point that one side table is scratched, no, sanded. Also, while they did pack the container as much as they could, and tied items with rope, some of them were not fully stable. As the container left my apartment, I heard banging noises, now I keep wondering that they could be (will know in a week when I get the container back). Also, for the record, they showed up in a plain unmarked car with no company shirts. Although this review is for D. Law, I feel disappointed with the HireAHelper experience for other reasons.

I had a great experience with D. Law Movers. The guys called me 45 mins in advance to let me know they were on their way and what time to expect them. They worked really hard and I could tell were trying to get the move done as quickly as possible. For this move, I was having them unload a couple of storage containers into my new apartment, and if a box had come undone or or opened during transit, they pointed it out to me and made sure it was okay. They put the boxes labeled "Kitchen" in the kitchen, etc. and checked with me on where to put major items like mattresses and the TV as well. I'm going to be calling these guys again the next time I need help!

The movers were late, but when they got going they unloaded a 26ft Uhaul in 3.5 hours. The movers took very good care of my furnature, were very personable and I would use them again.

They were great!
They did show up two hours late due to a prior booking that ran longer than planned. However, when they did show up they worked hard, were friendly and took care of our things.
I would recommend them for other people.

This was a wonderful experience, the boxes and small furniture was very well packed. I will say that some of the larger items appeared to be tossed in at the last minute and required some repacking the first night of out of town. It was wonderful and I would most definitely use them again. My only recommendation is to make sure that the furniture pads are used on items at the back of the truck.

These young men were great!! They were right on time, unloaded a dolly and were prepared to move the heavy items. Both Danyea and Keldrick were careful of not just the items they were moving but the doorways, walls, etc. in moving these items out to the POD. They worked hard, kept moving, and double checking the items yet to be loaded vs. the items in the POD. I could not have asked for more courtious people.
My strongest recommendation would be to buy a couple of air line tickets and send them to move me in.

I hired 2 guys for 2 hours to unload a 16 foot truck. They arrived on time and were very friendly and professional. The did not take a break and got everything unloaded without any damages. It was a pleasure working with these guys. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get this type work done.
