They didn't show until I called. Originally scheduled online through HireAHelper for 10-11am. Waulter (owner or manager?) called me immediately after online scheduling to say they couldn't do that time frame so we agreed on a 1-2pm time frame. They never showed. I called Waulter at 2:00 only then to be told they were stuck in traffic, to which I replied that I would have appreciated a call, he had my number and after a call back I was given a second excuse of a dying cell phone. They did eventually show up at 2:28. ***The guys doing the actual move did a good job and were cordial.*** Waulter dropped the ball on what could have been an positive experience, all he would have had to do is place a simple phone call to me.
Also HireAHelper assured me prior to using their service that getting additional insurance on my moved item would be simple--I was to simply click on a link in my receipt email and purchase the insurance. Their insurance only covered about $168, I was having a $4000 brand new item moved so I wanted to make sure it was insured. Fifteen emails, signing nine pages and a FAX later I was able to purchase insurance through a THIRD company. Nothing about the experience with HireAHelper would make me recommend them even though they were pleasant on the phone prior to using their service, each step was a hassle with yet another company involved.

I hired 2 workers for 2 hours. They arrived early and were ready to work. Very respectful of our property and did a fantastic job...finished early! Would recommend them to anyone. Great job!

The two men I hired showed up on time, were extremely efficient and careful with my belongings, and they helped me arrange the furniture in my moving container so that everything fit. They were meticulously careful with my grandmother's furniture. Although I provided the blankets, they did most of the wrapping and were extremely careful. This is the second time I have used them and have been exceptionally pleased both times.
