Arrived on time and moved quickly. Movers were careful with and respectful of my items. The truck I had was too small to fit everything, but the first load was packed into and out of the truck so quickly, we had time to go back and reload the truck with the remaining items. Great job!
I rated 4 instead of 5 stars because there was some grumbling and resistance to moving a couple of items that were tricky to get out of my house. I understand these items were a pain -- but I had been clear about it in my write-up requesting the service, so it should not have been unexpected.

I give Samuel Services 5 stars. My family and I were 1.5 hours late for our appointment due to driving/moving interstate. The movers were patient with us and rearranged their schedules to accommodate us. They were professional and moved with efficiency. I would recommend them anytime and use them again for our next move!

While the crew was early and was quick in getting items moved out of our apartment & into the truck, their speed was also my boxes' demise. Items were not They stacked properly, resulting in us having to unload a number of larger items (mattress, chairs, etc.) that had been loaded all the way to the back door to try & recover space for the remaining items we didn't have them load, but they also loaded heavier/larger boxes on top of smaller/lighter boxes, resulting in a lot of shift and a number of boxes -- including 2 wardrobe boxes -- being completely crushed upon arrival in Texas. Luckily, nothing was broken, but seeing they only took 1 hour to load (and we had 2 hours scheduled), they should have been able to take some additional time to ensure items were loaded properly. Unfortunately, they required someone to be in the apartment at all times while items were being moved out, so we were unable to be downstairs to supervise the loading. Sometimes faster isn't better.

They even brought their own dolly, when ours broker prior to our move. They really came prepared.
