I booked thru hire a helper. They were suppose to send a crew at 9 am on a Friday morning. But the crew did not show.
I called hire a helper and ask WTF. They apologised and said Move with Ease could be here by 2 pm. Well they were in my house by 12:30. Got right to work. I told the young man he must have played a lot of the game Tetris in his childhood. He could really fit things in tight and safe. Three hours later they were gone. They got my move back on schedule. Would use them again without any hesitation. Great job.
BTW. I won’t talk about the guys who didn’t show but I would beware Humphrey transportation.

On moving day, customers can expect a call from us an hour before arrival to confirm we're on schedule. Our professional crew, dressed in uniforms, will arrive with our own dollies. We'll tour the house and assess the location of large items and smaller items that can be placed on top. We'll also identify items that need to be wrapped for protection. Our team will then efficiently load/unload the truck or container, ensuring items are packed and protected properly, with care and attention to detail.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
To prepare for moving day, we recommend having all small items packed in boxes and securely taped at the bottom. Labeling the boxes by room, such as "kitchen," "master bedroom," and "guest bedroom," can save time during the move. Additionally, it's helpful to remove lampshades from lamps and pack them separately in a car. By preparing in advance, you can help us efficiently load/unload the truck or container, making the move as smooth and stress-free as possible.

What I love most about being a mover is the physicality of the work, which keeps me active and in shape. But what really drives my passion for this job is the satisfaction of helping people during a potentially stressful and challenging time. There's nothing quite like seeing the relief on someone's face when we've successfully completed a move. And the opportunity to work in different locations and meet new people is a bonus that makes each day on the job exciting and fulfilling.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All our crew members receive thorough training from the owner. They learn to wrap items properly, take doors off, protect floors, load items without damage, use dollies and straps, and document arrival and end time. Communication is key, and they call an hour before arrival or if there's a delay. Our crew members are equipped with the skills and professionalism to handle any move with care.
