The movers arrived about 4 hours after the agreed upon start time. When they did arrive they were slow moving at first. They speeded up a little bit but it took two men over three hours to move a one bedroom apartment where my husband and I already had moved all small things and boxes.
I am still rating them a three because they were friendly and well prepared. They had dollies and furniture padding. They took good care of our belongings.
I would recommend these movers if your moving time is flexible.

Two thumbs up! These guyes are superb. I do recommend Movers for a Cause to anyone needs moving labor help. Efficient, affordable, fast as well as nice and friendly. They even volunteered to assemble my heavy queen size metallic bed frame, when there was 15 min time contract left after done with moving stuff.

I would recommend this team to anyone. I just needed furniture moved within my apartment (redecorating run amok!) and they were terrific. Several of the pieces were large and needed to be moved into a room that was freshly painted with new wood floors. Reggie and Ron were very careful to move the couches with no damage to any surface - even removing a door in the process. They also helped move the area rugs to better positions in the room after the furniture was brought in.
