The movers worked like crazy! We were moving my MIL and i had no idea she was a hoarder of China and porcelain. The movers stayed and packed until 10:30 at night! Great crew and great job!

I hired a moving company under Hire a Helper named Annoited Movers for 12-1 pm, on 5/27. The loader called and sounded very confused. He was verifying that I was to be moved on the 27th and would see me the next day. I told him "No, you are supposed to be here today." He stated no tomorrow the 27th. I told him it was the 27th. He stated he was confused and asked if I could reschedule for a later time (3-4 pm). I stated, yes and waited for him to arrive. After 4:45 pm, I called Hire A Helper after a couple of attempts calling Annoited Movers to see what was the issue, but he did not answer or return the call. They weren't aware and proceeded to call him as well. He didn't answer his call either. He even tried to text him and no response. He stated he will call me back. Later, he called back and stated he wasn't getting a response either, so he was going to escalate the issue and have them contact me back. The owner call me back as promised and tried to contact the movers, but no response from them either. So, he called to see if he could get another loader company, which ended with Stack in the Box. They showed up and seemed to be the rescuer, but later became a horrible choice. Two men came and proceeded to wrap my furniture (which was an awesome job). After about an hour, they loaded some items. Later one of the loaders became ill. He was constantly in my restroom, leaving one mover to load the furniture most of the time. I and my brother tried to assist and brought items out of the house and put them next to the truck so the one loader wouldn't have to walk into the house to retrieve some items. The one loader was good but started putting items in the truck incorrectly, which could have saved space for the other items. After, about 1.5 hours, the ill loader acted like he was about to faint. His partner stated he was having symptoms like food poisoning. Needless to say, they left many items upstairs and downstairs, which left me to have to spend more money and tireless hours to return back to Houston to retrieve the items they didn't load. On top of that, the Hire A Helper had the nerve to charge me an additional .45 minutes. My brother tried to put the items on, but he would have had to unload about a third of the truck to rearrange to get the items on. It was too late in the night and a very long day. This cost me an additional $300.00 because I had to rent another van and travel back to Houston from Dallas the next day, which was extremely exhausting and expensive. Needless to say, I will not be using Hire A Helper again.

Brandon and Tyrone were THE BEST!!! They were super careful bringing in everything. Not one scratch on any of the walls or corners, not one ding on any of the furniture! They were super friendly and did a great job. Worth every penny!!!

Good communicator. Flexible with time changes and worked with us to make our off load on time. Examined all goods as they were off loaded and identified damaged pieces before removing from truck. Assembled all furniture and appliances in an experienced and competent fashion. I would highly recommend this group for your move. They were professional in every regard.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?

The utmost professionalism and mind blowing professional decorum. We aren’t here to waste your time or hard earned money.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

2-day prior confirmation Free disassembly and reassembly. You also get to watch use play Tetris with furniture.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

If at all possible put items in boxes and tape them closed flat. Please notify the crew of any specialty items prior to the move date (Load/Unload).

What types of moves have you handled?

We service local, in-home, intrastate, interstate, office moves and senior citizens relocations.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Meeting new people from different walks of life.

What training do you provide your crew members?

Common sense training; ergonomic training....making less steps gets more done. We are attentive to the customer’s belongings.
