I was keep informed at all times during my moving process. Coutesy calls were given to me before they arrived. They even switched our day to unload when a mover did not show up the previous day to load us. They did a great job. They finished the job in less than 2 hours. Fast workers! This is a good moving company.

This moving crew was not adequately careful with my things, or with the rental townhouse they moved us out of. Not only were several of our items damaged due to carelessness (they actually packed things carefully in the truck, but getting our items in and out of the truck was much less carefully done), including some heirloom furniture, but they also left quite a bit of damage to the walls, floor, and door of the place we were moving out of. This damage will likely result in my not recovering any of my rental security deposit. Some of the flooring will have to be replaced completely; they knocked off large chunks of drywall (with my dining room table, which I explained to them was a very special item), managed to gouge deep grooves into the walls of the stairway, tore paint off the stairwell and some walls, and dented and chipped paint on the door to the garage. I am in the process of filing damage claims and hope that Global Elite or Hire a Helper comes through. I am glad that we packed and moved most of our things before Global Elite arrived, and they only did the big furniture that I couldn't lift.
The review is two stars not zero because the company did a fine job of communicating, and despite the problems I did have, the price was reasonable. If you choose to use Global Elite, be sure to spring for the extra insurance.

The movers were scheduled to arrive between 9-10am. They ended showed up at 10:10am. Upon arriving, they didn't seem ready to get to work so they sluggishly got started. I only had a couple of furniture pieces in the truck that needed to be brought in as most of my furniture was sold with my previous home. The rest of the boxes in the truck were to be placed in my garage, making the job much easier. I could tell both of the helpers provided weren't professional movers with experience. One was better than the other, with the other not even knowing how to properly lift furniture using appropriate leverage. He was so bad I assisted the more experienced mover with several of the heavier furniture pieces, as the inexperienced mover didn't even have the strength to lift some of the pieces. He was very frail in appearance so I felt bad for him and worried about damaged furniture. The movers consistently hit door frames and managed to break off accessories attached to a large mirror, which I will have to repair. I originally scheduled a 2 hour service but added an hour the night before thinking It would take longer. It took 2 hour exactly, as they vacated my property at 12:10, but I wasn't refunded the extra hour. All in all my experience with Global Elite Movers is that they aren't elite at moving and hired some random guys off the street to help me. If you value your time, money, and belongings go with a reputable company, even if it cost you more. At the end of the day the old saying stays true "You get what you pay for". In this case $354 for 2 hours labor was a rip off. Wouldn't recommend them for anything.
