Steven and Chris were great, I would highly recommend Leave it Moving to anyone needing help with a move. The team communicated with me when I first booked the job, and called ahead the morning of to let me know their ETA. They arrived on time, and treated all of my things as if they were their own, taking care to pack them safely while minimizing the space used in my size limited container. Great experience, would certainly book again for a future move.

The crew was on time and ready to work (9am), they didn’t damage the house anymore than one could ask I reckon. The issues were with the packing. I had a storage pod and a uhaul truck for an out of state move. We went through and discussed what goes in the pod and what goes in the truck. There were some major issues with pod items being in the uhaul truck visa versa. Obvious items like food, bedding etc got out in the pod and we’re unavailable for 2 weeks while the pod is shipped.. there were some very specific request to the move lead for items I wanted In the storage pod which were put in the uhaul and had to be stored elsewhere upon arrival. Every box was labeled and instructions were pretty clear on preference. Another issue was covers and ropes. I provided a box of rope and covers for the move, and they were used in the pod but in the uhaul loading I was told that there wasn’t anymore ropes and or covers. After they left and I was wrapping everything up I find the box they used for the pod with blankets and an unopened pack of ropes... I had 3 pieces of furniture ending up scratched and marked up after we unpacked the uhaul. That was super frustrating because it was the items packed by the movers and not the loose items which they weren’t allowed to pack (according to the move lead). So at the end of the day I’d say if you need just labor, just literally need stuff moved from here to there with no regard to item type or preference, then go with this crew. I can tell you after having to take stuff back to the pod that got put in the uhaul, and take out the stuff that wasn’t supposed to be in the pod, and then to repack it myself... I would not use this company again.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
You will receive a courtesy call to verify that the information received is correct and to confirm we can provide the service you are requesting.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We show up in uniform, ready to work. We come with the equipment needed to move your items around. We go over paperwork and do a walk through to get a idea of the layout. Then we get to work.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure you have all of your padding and protection material available. Gather any shrink wrap, bubble wrap, mattress pad covers and TV boxes that you will need. Also having all of your boxes taped shut and stacked ready to go is extremely helpful. Be sure that all your table tops are cleared off and ready to be protected for your move.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled a wide variety of moves from locals, internal moves (where we move rooms and things around inside your home), apartments, lofts, office buildings, eviction and a few long distance moves.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part about being a mover is being able to provide exceptional problem solving solutions to our clients; in a time that is often stressful and chaotic.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All crew members undergo equipment training, safety training and continuing education when anything new becomes available.
