We take great pride in our work and have been servicing Wisconsin for over 11 years. I work closely with my movers and a carry a daily communicative relationship with all of them. Many of the big franchises out there have no idea what is going on with their crews because the size of some of these companies gets to the point where a major detachment occurs between management and labor. We run multiple teams and could run many more but I am a very hands on owner and I like things a certain way with a certain mindset on control and involvement. I attribute our success first and foremost to the Lord and secondly to the idea that more is not always better.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?

We will be there and ready. We give call ahead when on the way. If the customer has any questions prior to the move, they can always reach out via call, text, or email.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

Professionalism. My staff is friendly and helpful. We know what we are doing. For loading purposes, playing Tetris is what we do. But it is not just managing space. Making sure that we are responsible and aware of how these items are loaded is very key. We need to make sure these items are protected and safe while in transport. This is done by using moving blankets, straps, and sometimes cardboard when all you need is just a little separation. For unloading, we bring everything to room of choice.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

Keep major walkways clear. Work the walls. Disconnect appliances if they need to be moved. Make sure your lamp shades are boxed up and bulbs removed. Have your boxes taped shut and lids on totes. This makes packing and stacking much easier and allows us to use as much of the space available as we can in the container, truck, or trailer as we can. Have ample moving blankets on hand if not using our truck. Have a couple 4 packs of 1 inch 14 or 15 ft ratchet straps to secure your items while in transport.

What types of moves have you handled?

All of the above. We used to handle out of state moves with our trucks but a few years back we switched gears and now just cover the state of Wisconsin.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Meeting new people. I love working with my hands and take satisfaction in putting together a nicely packed truck.

What training do you provide your crew members?

It is always on the job. When bringing on a new crew member we always link him up with the best we have. Typically I am the one training him. I will feed him little by little and gradually get him up to speed. It is very important not to give new guys more than they can handle at a time. Some get it faster than others. You need to read him and gauge him. Build confidence and reward. The job is physical but at the same time mental. You have to keep your guys mentally strong as well.
