The owner of the company and one helper showed up (I only ordered two people), but the owner spent half the time (literally) on the phone, so the move was very delayed and I was overcharged (since only ONE person was working).
When I originally spoke with them, they laughed at me for getting such a large truck. I told them that I didn't have a lot of furniture, but I had a lot of stuff in boxes. When they arrived, all the owner did was complain about how much stuff I had "for just one person". They had been warned!
When another company, on the other end of my move, unpacked the truck, they said that they had never professional movers do such a bad job of packing a truck.
I wouldn't waste my money on these guys again.

I requested two helpers for two hours -- three helpers showed up with an explanation that they could do it faster. That was an indication of how they proceeded to do the work -- fast with little care for where boxes were put even though all boxes had a target room on them. It just seemed like they were in a hurry and I didn't get that feeling a customer likes to have that this job is the most important thing on their minds.
The large items were handled well and they did get everything from the two containers into the house quickly, but we have since had to move many boxes to the correct room.

These workers were on time, prepared with necessary equipment, worked hard the entire time, reespectful of my property and goods and I will use them again at my next location.
The job to load my penske rental truck for 8000lbs took 3hrs but they did it right the first time and I would recommend them to others for their services.
The supervisor contacted me immediately to notify me that he would accept the job and to also get an idea of the property being moved and as to what I expected. Like I said before, professional, polite, and excellent service.

Good work crew, attentive and careful with belongings. very polite and always asking where they could put items when un loading. I did have a time window of 12pm to 1pm for the crew to arrive and they showed at 1:40, however they did call and let me know they were running late and that was appreciated. The crew also knew I was on a time contraints and made everything work out just fine.GREAT JOB.

Mr. Kedrick was the best! A total professional in every respect, courteous and helpful and most of all did a great job getting my truck loaded for the trip East. The people on the other end even commented on what a great job the truck loading had been and how much it had helped to keep the load stable thru all those mountain passes and end up safely at my home in Montana. He was fast and efficient but also extremely organized and it made a big diference in the entire job. He was able to come in and look over the load, see exactly how high it had to be stacked in the truck, and then work from the ground up to make it fit beautifully and safely. I would definitely call on HireAHelper in the future! He also reassured me from the beginning that all my STUFF would fit, as I had been worried it might not!!!!
