We were NOT pleased with the team that provided US the service. Someone stole my customer's wedding ring, my customer called the police to file a report and they questioned our guys and search them and no ring was found.
In the report we had to provide them with the name of the team we hired through hire a helper . We also found it strange that the team leader would call me to complaint about 1 of my guys. We’ve NEVER had a customer complain about a theft involving them.
We've used hire a helper for over 6 years and no team has ever called us to complaint about our guys. Also my boss the OWNER of the company spoke with the team leader and inform him about the missing ring and how the police was called, and after that conversation mysteriously the rings arrived to my customer’s house via UPS.
We want a FULL REFUND for the bad service they provided us with and shame our employee and company.

The packing job was terrible. They did bring 4 people but seemed more concerned to get out early than finish what they were doing. I was 100% not happy how they folded over my mattress against the couch. Very different experience than previous hire-ahelper movers I have used.

We unloaded out PODS on August 2nd, so this was our first chance to see the damage done. The movers started strong and seemed to be very thoughtful about how they packed our Pods. However, at one point, I heard the team leader ask why they were still there, implying that they weren’t working fast enough. At that point things seemed to kick into high gear in the worst way. The movers began placing things in the pods haphazardly, ruining several items including a high-end computer monitor that cost $899 as well as an irreplaceable custom portrait by my father that was stretched and warped after being pierced by a bed frame. Prior to the movers/packers leaving our house, we looked inside one of the pods and asked them to fix a situation where they had placed a flat screen TV face-up, just under another bedframe that was positioned diagonally against it, ready to puncture it. While movers don’t have ownership of the items that they are packing, isn’t the whole point that we are paying them to pack our items as if they were their own? We aren’t skilled packers and we trusted that this team was. Moving across the country is a stressful, tiring situation, both emotionally and physically. To open our pods and find items, some of them precious, damaged, and treated with such a lack of care made a challenging situation that much more difficult.
