Was moving to an apartment from out of state, our team of guys were 2 hours early and ready to work when we were ready for them, which really helped us get everything unloaded quickly and ahead of schedule. They were friendly, careful with our items and worked hard and efficiently the whole time. We would definitely use them again and recommend their services!

We hired a team of 3 people for 2 hours to help us move the contents of a 16 ft pod into a townhouse. The men arrived promptly as scheduled and proceeded to unload the contents. They suggested to move the smaller things into the garage in order to get to the larger items and finished in time. Everything was out of the pod in about an hour. There were lots of items in the garage but the team leader said that they were not supposed to "touch again what they had already moved" They agreed to move 4 more items and that was it. I called their dispatcher who confirmed their words. So they left.
I think that $520.00 dollars was way to much. I thought that when calling "Hire-a-Helper" I was doing exactly that for 2 hours. My bad? Perhaps. I am writing this to alert other future customers to make sure they understand what they are paying for.

first they called the day before to push up the time, even though we really needed that time to finish getting everything ready for them. then they showed up even earlier then the agreed upon new earlier time. my husband gave them some cash to go get breakfast so we could have a little more time before they started.
we asked them to wear masks since we have a small child who is too young to be vaccinated. they only kept them on a small time while he was there, but quickly took them off.
they didn't utilize all the moving blankets or extra sheets we had so a lot of furniture got damaged in the move.
it also took them over twice as long as they projected and the people who unpacked everything on the other end said it should not have taken nearly that long, so we were over charged and my husband helped them the whole time.
overall very disappointing.

Movers called ahead and showed up exactly when they said they would.
They had the right equipment and did the job well. They handled my belongings and my property with care and were very polite. I would recommend and use again.

These three guys were awesome. They obviously had worked together on many jobs as they had a system of unloading items from the POD and getting them upstairs very quickly. They accomplished the job in less than 2 hours even though I had thought it would take more time.
If I ever had to move again (and I hope not) I would definitely like to hire this company for the job.

We hired this company through Hire A Helper and we were so happy with them! Their pre-communication check ins were great! The moving guys showed up on time and stayed an extra 5 hours to get the job done (I underestimated the time it would take). They were more than fairly priced. We would absolutely use them again!

Movers showed up on time and finished the job early. The lead guy let us know they would prorate our fee since they finished early (totally proactively). Very happy with their work. The real star is Carmen, though, because she made sure our reservation went off without a hitch and was extremely reachable leading up to and after the move. I’m very impressed with this company’s transparency, productivity and general unwillingness to accept money they haven’t earned. Would def use these guys again.

Andrew and his team did an excellent job. I had some very large furniture pieces that needed to be moved up and down stairs and they did a great job. They were very professional, courteous and careful with everything.

Exceeded all of our expectations! The moving team was on time, incredibly professional and carefully wrapped and secured all of our items and loaded the truck to ensure nothing was damaged. We drove the moving truck 720 miles and not one item they packed/loaded was scratched. I expected a couple guys to help load our moving truck, and what we got was so much more.
