The guys were very prompt and very efficient. I have a 5-yr son, and they were mindful of him. My biggest complaint though is about my stuff. They could have been more careful with my boxes, and one commented about having so much "junk." Didn't appreciate that.

Mover's response:
We apologize for the unappreciated comment. It in no way reflects how we feel about customers belongings but most importantly nothing was damaged or mishandled by our movers.

We used HireAHelper/TriangleLaborServices in May 2014 and had issues with their service, but since we had them lined up to onload our POD and move items into our new house, we decided to give them one more chance....

I should not have. The manager had assured me d/t issues with our first service, that two of his best men would be there to move us in, but a father and teenage son showed up late that morning. They did not follow instructions of where to put the boxes (every box/container was labeled with which room to put it in) - they constantly asked me where it went. They left a lot of stuff in the garage that should have been in the house. They put some dents in our walls a few times, which I had to patch. They got our cream couch dirty from not keeping it picked up, which I had to scrub. They scratched our new hardwood floors in two spots!!!! One when they were putting the dryer in and the other when they wanted to slide a heavy armoire down the hall on a blanket. I advised against this and they said it would be fine. I stood there and watched and immediately stopped them when I saw the long scratch as they were moving.

I called the manager back to tell him about the new issue and that he was responsible for the scratches and would pay for our floor company to come back out to fix them. He was hesitant on this, but eventually did.

Overall, I would NOT use HireAHelper/TraingleLaborServices again. They were not reliable with our stuff, not professional, not prepared and not experienced.

We moved out of our home and had to live with my in-laws while the new home's floors were replaced. We had no option other than packing our stuff into a PODs container for the transition. The PODs company was fantastic and easy to work with. So, we had to hire a moving crew that would first pack the container and hire again to unload it at the new home. We read good reviews about HireAHelper/TriangleLaborServices and went with them.

First impression: they were not professionally dressed and smelled like smoke and they took a decent amount of "smoke breaks." Regardless of my first impression, what really upset me and put enormous timeline stress on me that night, was that because they did not effeciently pack items into the POD, not everything fit. The worst part was that they did not take the reamining items down from the attic to the first floor for me to move...they left them in the attic and told me that they were done. Items included a large mirror, a very heavy trunk, 15-20 boxes, 8-10 plastic storage containers and some miscellaneous items. They left late, around 4pm and we had to be out of the home that evening to sign papers the next morning at 8:30am. So, I had to stress about borrowing a trailor from friends, move items from attic to the ground floor and take 3 trips to my in-laws to put all of this in their garage (which they then could not park their cars in)....then clean the home.

I called the manager at HireAHelper the next day and expressed my dissappointment and frustration with the situation and uncompleted job. He was accomodating in that we did receive some refund, but not enough to compensate for what I had to do. Since we had them lined up to unload the POD and move items into the new house, I told him I'd give him one more chance....
