One worker was quite slow and they did not work well together or efficiently

So many problems... Yes, they used 3 hours to unload 80% of a 26' U-haul Truck and did with the standard care and precautions. They were on time. But that was it. It was two guys: an older guy called J. and a younger one also with the same name. The older one was the alpha and complained - non-stop for the duration of the 3-hour job - about how U-Haul was keeping most of his money, how U-haul policies were unfair to the contractor, and if he knew the items were so heavy, he would not accept the job. He cursed a lot and often (F-bombs included), in front t of my wife and adult daughter (both Catholics) disrespecting both. Un insufferable fella. The two movers kept grunting all the way to the second floor, exaggerating their effort of moving items up. What the heck they were thinking? That the job was to carry groceries bags from a car to grandma's house? The worst part was the lack of professionalism: the older one refused to take a piece of my king size bed wooden frame to the second floor because "it would damage the dry-wall and I don't have a waiver for you to sign, sir!"; he also started climbing the stairs with my dresser, only to stop in the 3/4 of the way and tell me that they need to remove the stairs handle so, maybe - just maybe, they could make it to the second floor.
They should just shut up and do the job they willingly accepted, be paid off, and get out.
Keep your distance.

John & John did a great job, very professional and personable!
Thank you

John and his team were excellent. Although I had requested 3 guys, we only ended up with two. John and his helper, John, were very friendly, attentive. Excellent communication as well! They had hand trucks, dollies, tools for furniture. Probably the best, and least stressful move I have ever had! I highly recommend hiring John and his team for any moving needs and will for sure hire them for my next move!

Both helpers were named John. They were absolutely awesome. They had to move heavy furniture in the pouring rain. I would definitely use them again. Fantastic.

But furniture was scratched

They were on time, but it was extremely challenging. John the leader of the team initially called mew as I requested three men, for three hours (which was what it took to load all the same items to come to Tampa) and he informed me that he only needed two. I stood on the requirement for three and it still took a total of 4 1/5 hours. John takes no information of requests from his clients and he has the only right opinion. At the three hours mark when 50% was loaded, 25% in the street and 25% still in the hours - he asked me if we want him to FINISH the job. When you provided a quote it normally is not for partial work, but a COMPLETED effort. At the end, two last furniture piece what just set on there floor of the open space in the truck, which should have been integrated into the packing with all the boxes, when I approached him about it he got verbally hostile with me and started spouting his experience. I did secure the items with rope but still need to inspect the items and see how they traveled. I would not recommend using this company to anyone. He had some nice and hard working guys but John has them where he calls every shot.
