Lancaster Mover Reviews
Very good service! Went above and beyond for me. Took apart all my stuff and Weathered the rain and snow!! I highly recommend for your next move! Thank you!
The guys were great, right on time, very professional and efficient. They used a lot of care moving the furniture pieces, even helped with unwrapping.
Best investment in my move process. We had three filled Pack-Rat PODS delivered to out new home. I was able to schedule the crew to come in to help with the final move. The crew was amazing, they moved 2 PODS worth of equipment was moved in 3 hours and they were so respectful of the new house and furniture being moved. Not a wall dinged, or piece dropped. They were a very well-oiled machine. Their biggest weakness was me being able to direct where each piece was to be moved as they moved so fast and efficient.
Thank you they were really good. Rate them excellent.
They were on time and worked steady! They were very polite and followed all our instructions for where each item went! I would highly recommend Zachary and Jeff!

Major Neighborhoods in Lancaster
Living in Lancaster means you'll be treated to seriously idyllic vistas of rolling hills and farmland all around, but the city has a lot more to it than just pretty views. While it's probably known best for its large Amish population, it also prides itself as a Certified Welcoming City and a home to a vibrant arts and live performance scene. Take First Friday for example, a popular arts and music event held downtown weekly. Or Fulton Theater, the oldest working theater in the country. Locals also enjoy hanging out at Buchanan Park, which features a dog park and sports facilities. Plus, big metros like D.C. and Philadelphia are a convenient Amtrak ride away. If you’re ready to move to Lancaster, local movers and their professional know-how will make the experience stress-free.
Downtown Lancaster
Downtown Lancaster is the heart of the city figuratively and literally. This central neighborhood is where a good percentage of the liveliest events, venues, and eateries reside, so if you like a little more bustle than the suburbs, this is the place for you. The Lancaster Central Market is a hub of local vendors selling fresh flowers, spices, groceries, and other goods. There's sure to be an annual event you'll love in the area too, whether you're into live music and would prefer the Launch Music Festival, or want to taste some brews at the Craft Beer Festival. This area is as busy as the city gets, so for your move, rely on local movers who know best where to park and what streets a big moving truck can traverse.
Chestnut Hill
Chestnut Hill is a walkable neighborhood filled with historic single-family homes. It hosts The Green Room Theater, a hidden gem that hosts live theater productions, film screenings, and creative workshops. There are also some great local watering holes like Wacker Brewing and Thistle Funch Distillery. Nearby, you can find Franklin and Marshall College, which means this is a great spot to settle in if you're a student or someone who likes the campus vibe. And if you're a sports fan, you're also in luck — you can find the home of the Barnstormers, Magazine Stadium, on the opposite end of the neighborhood. Want to join the Chestnut Hill community? Then hire local movers to take care of the logistics for you. You'll be glad you left it to the pros!
Manheim Township
Daily life in Manheim Township centers around the agricultural industry, but its proximity to downtown makes it a prime spot for those who prefer a quieter neighborhood with easy access to city amenities. And speaking of the importance of farming, you can learn about the local history of it at the Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum. If that's not your thing, the Overlook Community Campus has a pool, dog park, skate park, and more for you to experience. Those with young families might consider the unique Landis Woods Nature Preschool, an accredited school dedicated to teaching children about nature and our place in it along with the usual curriculum. Although Manheim Township is mostly rural, it’s best to book experienced local movers who won't get stuck on a side road or dead end.
East Side
One of the most charming and unique neighborhoods is East Side. Nestled along the Conestoga River, it's full of renovated 19th and 20th-century townhomes, and the historic facades don't stop with the houses. The Cork and Cap, for instance, is in a building that used to be for cork. and glass companies — but you should check them out for their chicken and waffle soup, regardless of how much of a history buff you are. If you prefer green spaces, head to Buchanan Park to play on the basketball courts, playground equipment, or have a picnic. Whenever you decide to make East Side your new home, remember to take some of the stress out of the process and hire local movers. The pros will make the experience a breeze.
