The service seemed great at first but once our packing pods arrived at the new location we had many damaged items due to careless packing. We provided the movers with shrink wrap and encouraged them to use it, as well as dozens of furniture blankets. Leather sofa arrived with a hole in it due to a sharp object being packed right up against the leather, which was packed with absolutely no padding around it. Also found terrible scratches on some of our metal furniture that was not padded properly and cannot be buffed out.
They seemed confident enough in what they were doing that I didn’t watch them like a hawk, but in hindsight, maybe I should have.
I expect to have some items damaged during the move, but definitely feel the damage incurred was exacerbated by poor loading.
