* The GMAC Moving and Labor Services crew arrived exactly on time, gathered their moving tools from their car, and stood ready to go to work with military precision.
* After receiving limited instructions, they did everything as expected with little to no supervision.
* The crew went beyond our original request by removing handles so the refrigerator would fit through doorways and then connected the kitchen water supply.

They had my pod unpacked in a little over an hour then offered to help with whatever I needed.

They did arrive in time and worked quick. However, what they did not do was secure my belongings. They did not pack the trailer according to the items that were in there. They threw things on top of other items. When I received the truck at my destination, all of my boxes were toppled over. They had placed my 65 inch tv near my refrigerator which had fell on top of my tv. All my boxes and bins were smashed! The movers who I hired to unload the trailer was baffled at how unprofessional the loaders loaded the trailer. And to add icing to the cake, one of the losers was trying to solicit me for almost a $300 tip all because he said he saved us money on the space used! How awful and unprofessional! Just to be clear it was not John who was trying to solicit me, it was the other one who said he was from New York! Would I ever use that company again? You know the answer to that!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Upon booking one of our crews, you can expect an introductory phone call to discuss your move and provide you with a contact for your move. During this call we will try to provide useful tips to help make your move more efficient and effective for all parties.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
On moving day you will receive a phone call from our crew lead 30 minutes before arrival. During this call they will introduce themselves and provide an estimate time of arrival. Once the crew arrives and personal introductions have been made, the crew will do a walk through with the homeowner so that they can get a better understanding of your needs. After the walk through, the crew will set up the protective equipment (door jam protector/Rug Runner) and begin the process of your move.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
First you want to make sure you are prepared and know exactly what/where you would like moved (especially for loads). Having all items that can fit into a box packed into a box will save tremendous amounts of time and money for your move. Also suggest having all the proper materials available, i.e. Shrink Wrap/Tape. Labeling boxes and knowing where you want furniture placed are also great tips to save time

We take all crew members through an extensive training process that not only measures their experience with proper handling of furniture but also provides them with an understand of the level of professionalism and work ethic that we expect from all crew members.
