The two guys that showed up were awesome and very funny. Most helpful and did such a good job unloading the POD!
They were on time, prepared for the job, worked very hard especially having to deal with small elevator, such narrow doorways, and tight turns with a huge couch.
The check everything to make sure I was aware of dings and scratch on furniture before they started and check again once it was moved in to the apartment.
Since I was new to the area one of the movers gave great information on places to eat and shop.
I will gladly use your company again if all your move crews are that great.

We just used Maxon Movers for our in town move in Fredericksburg, VA. They were great. I saw they had lots of great reviews online and new they would be a good company to choose.
They arrived early and were very quick and efficient getting everything out of our old place and into our new place. They were very eager and willing to make sure all things were in the correct room. They did a great job packing all of our furniture with moving blankets and making sure everything was very secure in the truck and all glass/lightbulbs/fragiles were protected.
I would definitely recommend them for your move and would use them again!!

They called morning of move to say they couldn't provide us service and we asked that they cancel the job. Although they were apologetic, we had expressed concern by calling their office two days ago that our move was booked for 6 hours, and they scheduled out load arrival time for 2pm today. I guess we were right to be concerned. Won't hire them again.

While they were very fast and enthusiastic, it was a little disorganized. They packed a cable box into a package and couldn't tell me which one it went into. I still can't find it and may be charged $110 by the cable company for being unable to turn it in within 2 weeks. That may be partly my fault for not mentioning to not pack that item, but I had not directed them to pack things on that table yet, so I was not expecting it.
They did not break anything, and they were trustworthy.

Maxon Movers arrived on time and completed the move in a reasonable time. However, we had an issue with them damaging our home, not telling us about it until we discovered it, then denying they did and, and then never reimbursing us for the damage.
Here are the details. While moving us out, they decided to remove our thermostat cover. They did not tell us they were doing this. After they had left, my husband discovered that they had, in fact, cracked the cover and it would not stay on the wall anymore. It was one of those old thermostats which needs the cover to regulate the temperature, so it was broken and would not work.
I called their dispatcher, Irena, when the guys arrived at our storage unit and made her aware of the problem. Initially, mover was very defensive and said he did not break it, he simply took it off . I explained to him that, when he did so, he cracked it. Irena wanted to send them back to the house and have them change out the thermostat. I told her this would not work for us, because our house was an hour away from the storage unit, which would have added 1-2 hours to our moving time, and with 2 small children in my car on a day during a heat wave, this would not work. I told her we had a handyman coming the following day and I would have them swap it out. She said fine, and to let her know if there were any problems.
When I got the bill from our handyman for $75 to replace the thermostat, I called Irena and told her I expected to be reimbursed for the damage. She said fine, to email her the receipt, and she would send me a check. I did that, and did not receive any response back. I then called 2 weeks later to follow up. Again, she said she would send me a check.
Two weeks later, I called again, and left a message saying I had never received my check, and if I did not get a return call I was going to file a complaint. Never heard back.
Luckily, HireAHelper is helping me out, but Maxon Movers are a dishonest company. Irena lied to me numerous times, saying she was sending me a check.
I would not use them again. Unless you want movers who are deceitful (broke our thermostat, never told us, then lied about sending us a check for the damage) and rude (they guy was very rude about the damage HE did), I would not suggest using them!
