I have never been so stressed out over a moving day. I paid for 3 hours and it took 3.5 hours and while I wasn’t charged the extra time this was a pretty terrible experience. The guys who showed were super nice but 2 were brand new and the 3rd guy appeared to be training them but it was so slow.
I got a call from Sean (owner - not sure if I spelled correctly) the night before and he wanted to add one more guy. Based on my previous email experience I didn’t feel like I needed one. My window was between 10 - 11 but the guys showed at 9:09. I asked them to come back later and when they did, 3 guys showed up. At one point the lead guy tried to get me to pay for the 3rd guy but I declined.
The first thing I tried was jumping in and just moving light things to the POD so they could see what constant movement really looks like. After 1.5 hours into the move I called Sean and he did admit they sent two new guys and said I wouldn’t have to pay any overages. It was just so painful watching how long it took the guys to wrap furniture and move it downstairs. The lead was on his phone multiple times and while I technically wasn’t getting charged for him - if he wasn’t telling the new guys what to do they stopped working. I ended up doing almost as much as them in packing and loading.
We finally make it to the apartment and get the Uhaul unpacked and I’m rushing to get it back since everything is running so late. After I leave the lead mover asked my wife to rate the service while he watched her rate them. He pressured her to give a 5 and made her feel uncomfortable about not giving one.
At the end of all this I really feel taken advantage of by this moving company. They sent new guys, tried to get me to pay for their training and then expected a 5 star rating. I won’t use them again.

Our guys will call you on the way to your move . Once they get there they will tour the location go Over any instructions that u might have for them and formulate a pain to facilitate your move.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Just be prepared to tell us what you want to go on first if you have pods that are going different places please Figure out before hand what is going on and where, if there are items that need to come off the truck or pod first please put those items to the side or point them out and they will go on last so they can come off first.
