These guys did an excellent job!!! They kept me informed regarding arrival time. Were very respectful towards me and the property. Worked very hard and efficiently. Wonderful experience! Would recommend and would also us them again!

They let me know that they were running a bit late but it was ok with me. Carlton showed up with his apprentice which he did not have experience in moving furniture. I'm all about people wanting to learn but for goodness sake! They showed up with only a hand truck with a flat tire and a screwdriver. No furniture dolly, strap or wrap. The biggest/heaviest piece to move was the sofa recliner - one lifted the sofa from its side and leaned it on its legs and I could see the legs were bent. Carlton took a video when I mentioned that. They also thought that it could go through the front door without removing its legs - not the case. They put the sofa on its side and heard a "crunch". It told them to remove the legs, reluctantly he went into his car and got a brand new screwdriver still in its wrapper. My husband went and got his tools. Not sure if the recliner will be in working and stable condition when we unload the PODS. HireAHelper were notified. I would not recommend this company.
Even though you did not give us a fair shake from the start unfortunately. You & your husband were very rude & kept saying that you all heard a crack from the legs & that we scratched the floor there was no scratch nor break in the legs. You stated that we didn’t have wrap but that’s the only reason we lifted the couch up, was to wrap it. Once the feet was off the couch (Disassembled) I asked you where was the crack or break in the legs ? You then stated “maybe it wasn’t the legs but (maybe) something on the inside”.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
A call to alert Customer we're on the way. Making sure we carry all the supplies they will need on the job. Discussing expectations and details about the job.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Have everything packed and sealed. Dresser drawers out of dresser (if not, we will shrink wrap each drawer). Update movers on everything in House/Apt/Condo before moving.
What types of moves have you handled?
Long distance (100 miles) loading trucks, unloading,. Loading, packing; driving large diesel trucks to Pennsylvania for moving jobs, up mountains. Load/Unload antique furniture, heavy woods, lifting items up curved stairwells, moving safes that weigh over 900 lbs.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The appreciation from Customer that we did a great job.
What training do you provide your crew members?
200 pound Armoire hold for 10 mins walk 20 mins back and forth to see how long they can hold and how far they can go and to train their mind for heavier items in the future. Lifting weighs after work. Teaching younger movers how to pack a POD, Truck.
