My experience with the company and communication etc was great. My complaint is that I hired to “2 guys” but I got one guy and his 2 small sons. Maybe they thought 2 boys equaled one man but it just doesn’t. They were nice and very careful with my belongings which I really appreciated but there were several heavy furniture items that really needed two strong guys for and things got precarious because of that and in general moved much slower than other movers I’ve had before. So that’s my only negative but unfortunately a petty impactful one and something that made my move harder than it needed to be. I’m not saying don’t use the company because I appreciated their communication and flexibility but make sure you ask for 2 adult men if you need the muscle.

The team from Lucky Movers was great. They communicated a lot up front, were quite flexible on arrival time and then more importantly were very careful with our things and quite efficient with moving everything into our new place. While I don't want to see another moving truck any time soon, I sure will call these guys if I need to move again in the LA area.

I hired Lucky Movers to load a moving van. They said two guys for two hours was enough time, and they finished in an hour and a half. They packed the van well and nothing jostled or broke in the two day ride. The guys were efficient and considerate. I’d recommend them!

Ivin and his crew was awesome. I hired 3 men for 3 hours and they were great. Wrapped my large items before the took them down stairs and at the new location they step up my beds. I highly recommend them.

they were amazing! this was a last-minute booking because PODS messed up my container's delivery date (did they tell me? no - found out because i called them about something). they were prompt, courteous, kind, helpful, worked their tails off, didn't even take a break. the whole time, they were gracious, accommodating, made great suggestions, willing to help me set up, and - more important for me - able and willing to stay much longer than originally anticipated. my one complaint is the cost of moving my upright piano (via elevator) - took very little time, yet cost $500! i was not told of this beforehand (but what choice when you have a piano in a container). the most that i have EVER paid for having it moved (i move a LOT) is $150. apart from that, they may be the best moving crew that i have ever used - can't recommend them enough! thank you.

Expect a call from us within a couple days. Feel free to call, email or text us as well.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Expect us to come on time, be fully prepared and fully equipped on your moving day. We might give you a call upon our arrival to confirm the arrival time. Expect courteous and professional work by our movers.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure to prepare a few moving blankets and may be a plastic bag for your matress. We will deliver the rest for your move.
What types of moves have you handled?
Currently we handle local and long distance moves going as far as 300 miles
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
It's meeting new people every day and seeing new places. Some workout is also big plus.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We train our movers to be precisly polite and respectful to the customer's household and its belongings. New members learn at first how to wrap and protect and handle the things. Maneuvering and moving large furniture skills next. We train our movers how to pack a pod or truck like playing the tetris game.
