charged for 6.5 hours... young guys quoted 146$/ hr and totally ripped..good job bought pizza and leminaid cheeter nice tho liars

Hello Jim, Unfortunately we are a third party company with Hire a Helper, We never quoted you for any amount of hours so If the sales department from Hire a Helper gave you a quote or promised you an specific amount of hours we have no access to that information so we don't know what deal that you may have made with them. We charge you for 6 hours. These were the hours that our movers worked loading your Pod from 2.20pm to 8.20pm. Regarding our hourly rates once again you book us through HireAHelper and if you go to their website you will be able to see our rates anytime (when you're booking & before check out). Now, you voluntarily bought pizza for our movers, we appreciate it but if this causes any inconvenience for you then it is best to not have provided them with pizza or tips as any gratification it's optional and is not mandatory, my suggestion is just don't waste your money on gratifications. As a company we have to charge for the amount of hours that our employees work, as we have to pay them for the time that they were working for you and that is not optional, that is mandatory.

Very frustrated by this experience. When speaking to representative I asked and was assured at least one of the movers would speak English. This was a non negotiable to me as I need to be able to communicate to keep things moving on schedule. The movers showed up and did not speak English. This caused MAJOR delays and ended up costing me more than 2x the amount. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY LIE TO GET BUSINESS AND DID NOT ANSWER CALLS TO HELP TRANSLATE. I would have never booked unless they promised I would have at least one mover I could clearly communicate with. Such a disappointment.

Hello Julie, I apologize if you are not satisfied with our service. The supervisor in charge of your move speaks English very fluently but I apologize if you were unable to understand his accent or if his accent was a problem for you. Things started going wrong when our project manager called you to let you know that our movers were not going to be unable to move an iron dresser that was fully packed with items inside. We let you know that you had to take your items out as it was very heavy for 2 people. That is when you started to state that you took more than an hour to pack your items inside your dresser and you were not going to take your items out, we told you that it was not safe for the movers to move your dresser as we want to prevent damages and injuries as much as possible. Regarding the calls, our project manager stated that the only time you called her was at 6:20 and the project manager called you back at 6:22 (because she was on the other line with a client), but you did not answer. You then called our project manager at 8:03 pm but unfortunately we closed at 7PM. We were able to provide you with two professional movers who got the job done without damages. We never lie to you in any situation all our reviews speaks by it selfs, we are not over charging, we didn't arrive late or we never promise you your job was going to be completed in 2 hours and If your job took longer it's because our top priority is to protect all your belongings to avoid any damages. We are more than welcome to share the pictures of your load with you if you need them.

We are a professional moving company where our clients always come first. Our customers can expect an amazing job outcome by our movers because we are trained and have the proper materials needed for the job.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

Our customers can expect a well prepared crew with all the materials needed for their move. They can also expect to be stress free during their move because of how reliable our movers are.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

Customers should prepare for the day of the move depending on what services they get/want. We reccomend that clients remove clothing from drawers, wardrobes, etc, to make the items less heavy for our movers. Always label your boxes. We also recommend to speak with our project manager about materials needed for the job to have them ready for the day of the move. Lastly, feel free to ask questions with our project manager about any concerns to be informed on what to do the day of the move.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Our favorite part of being a mover is seeing the relief on our clients face after getting the job done. We love being able to make our clients move stress free as much as possible.

What training do you provide your crew members?

We provide all of our employees with a one month training program at our head quarters to help them gain experience by teaching them good communication skills, how to pack fragile items into boxes, move heavy items using the proper equipment, stack the trucks or containers using every inch of space, etc.

The health of our customers and employees is our top priority We provide Face Mask, Gloves, Hand Sanitizer and any other Safety equipment on every job., (always included, no fee)
Hand tools for assembly:
We provide basic Heavy Duty Tools, (always included, no fee)
Hand truck:
We provide a Heavy Duty Hand Truck, (always included, no fee)
Plastic wrap:
We provide plastic wrap for 2-3 furniture items, any additional plastic wrap used will be a $35.21 dollar charge., ($35.21/ea.)
Rope:
We always provide straps to load/unload (we will need them back or a fee will be applied), If is Load only we recommend you to ask about our packing materials prices., ($7.04/ea.)
