College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving is a locally owned and operated business that provides a stress-free experience. We provide full service moving including packing and providing all move supplies. We can load or unload your UHaul/POD/Packrat. We can remove your unwanted items with our junk removal services. Finally we provide general labor services such as moving furniture around a house, assembling new furniture, etc. We have a crew of 11 HUNKS and 2 trucks and service Hampden and Hampshire counties.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?

They can expect a friendly phone call confirming the booking and a thorough review of the job.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

First, they can expect a professional team of HUNKS who will help to make the move stress free. The HUNKS will put out home protection gear, wrap all furniture, provide additonal moving supplies if necessary, and communicate with you on how the move is progressing.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

Have everything ready to go the day of the move. If you are packing boxes, make sure they are sealed and labeled. Empty drawers and disconnect appliances. If not all furniture is being move, using sticky notes is a great way to make it clear what is to be moved. Secure your pet so they don't get too stressed out. Then sit back and relax while the HUNKS do the work.

What types of moves have you handled?

We do local moves from the Springfield area to anywhere in MA or CT. We do office or commercial moves as well. We can load and unload a rental truck or POD.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

For most people, the most valuable items you have are your home and the items in it. Knowing that we take tremendous care of the property and personal items of each customer is so important and seeing the joy and relief of getting a customer into a new home makes all of the hard work worth it.

What training do you provide your crew members?

We have 2 sets of onboarding training along with bi-monthly training to sharpen wrapping and moving skills. Several mornings a week, we also conduct 10 minute mini trainings and safety reminders. Drivers and crew leads have additional training each month.
