Alex and Edwin were careful with my furniture--from wrapping it to managing doorways to placing it in my new home. Alex was very considerate about details; when he noticed something about the placement of the furniture that would be a problem such as blocking a vent, he kindly pointed out the situation and suggested a solution. They ably managed a couch, table, and bookcases up the incline in the backyard from the basement door to the driveway. Their work was well done. However, I think there were some communication lapses. Before moving day, I called Hire A Helper to request that the movers wear masks; I was told that it was required. The movers did not have masks on and seemed surprised at my request, but they wore masks without complaint when I asked them to do so. The movers showed up an hour early. Luckily, we were ready for them. The truck they drove did not say Best Movers VA. It had the name of another moving company.

The name says it all Best Movers of VA. The movers arrived on time and started immediately, and did not stop until the job was done. They were diligent, conscientious and friendly. Would use the, again without hesitation.

Showed up at agreed upon time and worked efficiently. Completed the move in the agreed upon time even though it was an extremely hot day. No damage or issues with any of the items moved. I'd recommend them for a local VA move.

I got linked up with Best Movers and they did great. I had 2 movers come by the house while I had a friend come help. We had a lot to do in 6 hours so we all busted our butt. The time went a little over by 30 minutes but they helped clean up our yard and made sure everything was in the house. George was really friendly and took no brakes. I provided water for the team and they sure needed it!

The movers showed up on time and worked very quickly. We had to overcome some unforeseen things and they worked right through the issues to make the move happen. They were completed ahead of schedule and again worked extremely well. Very friendly as well. I highly recommend this crew and will use them again should I ever have the need.
