They were on time and did a good job

The one CNS mover who showed up on time did a great job, but the second one (whom I paid for since it's a flat fee for 2 hours and 2 people) was one hour later than the first. When choosing the moving service I was able to select a 1 hour time frame; the first guy came at the start of the time frame, and the second arrived at the end of the 1 hour time frame.
The first guy was great and was able to get most of the stuff moved up a 5th floor walkup with a little help from us. The second guy did get right to work when he arrived and was appologetic. While I appreciated the appology, it was the first guy who suffered from the second guy being late. Together they got the heavy stuff like sofa and dressers up which is what I was hired them for, so I am satisfied from that respect. They were prepared for the job. They were respectful of our property and goods. Even with the second guy being late, they finished half an hour earlier than predicted. I would use them again.

They did an excellent job once again, These guys are absolutely tremendous and a real bargain. They show up early, really know what they're doing, work fast, and have a real positive attitude.
Chris and his partner did an unloading job for me last year, taking the contents out of a 25' truck and loading into a storage locker. They arranged everything in the locker so that a) it would be easy to reload it into the truck when the time came, which it was, and b) so that whenever I went to storage to get stuff out there was a clear space in the midst of all my boxes, etc. so I could get what I needed.
This time they loaded it all back into the truck, secured it perfectly (which is not easy to do, and which other moving crews have not always done so well in the past,) and waved me out of the otherwise difficult-to-navigate lot.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone. For years, I would do all this myself and usually injure my back macho-ing it out. This kind of service is a godsend wherever you're moving, whether it's in CNS's area or anywhere else in the country you can get laborers. Seriously, I am almost evangelical about this-- for a few bucks (and this is not expensive at all,) you can save your back, your hands, and your mind for driving that big alien truck and let these guys do the muscle work. Plus, if you get the right team they can do storage logistics far better than can an amateur. And in the NYC area, you're not going to find anyone better than Chris to do it. Definitely 5 stars.

These guys were beyond fantastic! My wife and I were switching apartments with another couple on the same floor of our building. We essentially had to do pile all of our belongings into a spare room in the new apartment, and the other couple did the same with our apartment. From there we had to again move our stuff to its new proper location.
We hired CNS for 5 hours and thought there was no way they could possibly do what was essentially four "moves" in that time frame. They finished with an hour to spare!
They are 15 minutes early, very prepared for the job and worked non-stop. They were very respectful of our property and didn't complain when we asked them to move our heavies possession (our treadmill) several times.
I would absolutely use them again.

A fantastic experience. Workers showed up on time and immediately got to work. I was impressed how quickly, efficiently and consistently they moved heavy items for 2hours non stop. They were very capable, careful and professional. I will definitely use CNS Moving Service when I move again.
