We are careful who we send into your home, around your family and to handle your property, we offer background checked helpers, checked through Hireahelper. INSURANCE through Hireahelper covers goods while being handled by our helpers up to $.60 per pound (policy must be activated by completing an inventory form). Full coverage insurance also available through Hireahelper. We'll never leave you stranded! If late we'll send extra helpers to make up time at no cost when possible. Overall, PROMOVE moved me in timely and without any damage to my belongings. However, the movers assigned to the job were not equal in the service provided and effort which is why I gave them 4 vs 5 stars. One arrived timely, was incredibly professional and courteous. The other arrived late, did not ask to use the restroom 3x within 1.5 hours and was incredibly lazy. He made the other mover do most of the heavy lifting and was constantly checking his phone. Then why I tipped them disproportionately the lazy one could be heard loudly complaining about it. Since it seems like the movers provided could be a mixed bag, not sure I would take the gamble and use them again.

One of the guys relied more heavily on the other for brains and brawn, which might have been an issue in a larger move.

Our movers from ProMove were so great. We have a very unconventional 2-location truck load and they were with us every step of the way, using expert strategy to get as much of our stuff into a single truck load as possible. Would hire them again in a heartbeat!
