I did a two-stage move using a 26 ft Uhaul truck. The first day, we loaded the unusual and slightly heavier equipment, that day went extremely smooth and easy. I was totally impressed with the speed and ease the crew worked. The second day, I felt the movers were struggling. Too much downtime. The result is that I missed my deadline which pushed coordination off on the unloading side. If they performed as they did on day one 5-stars easily, but day 2 only deserve 2.5-stars.

Tim and Ryan were excellent. They were on time, responsive, worked incredibly hard (honestly, don't even know how they kept up the pace but they did), were exceptionally nice to work with, and did the job professionally without any damage to furniture, walls or floors. It was a pleasure working with them and I would recommend them highly for any future jobs.

They did an oustanding job of fitting everything in the truck just right so that nothing would move on the drive across country. If we hadn't relocated to another state, we'd absolutrely hire them again.

I've used other providers but Lawrence & Family is one of the Best. They communicate, arrived on time and took care of the house and our belongings. it's stressful enough when moving so rest assured when using these guys.

Brian & Jalen from Lawrence & Family Movers were OUTSTANDING! They arrived on time, were professional, very hard-working, and worked quick! We had never used a U-Haul before, but they loaded it up perfectly: everything fit and they secured it well. They had no issues moving anything we had, and we were moving from a 3rd story to a 3rd story...lots of stairs! Both were very friendly and asked us where we wanted everything so that we wouldn't have to move anything later. I can't speak highly enough of Brian, Jalen, and this moving company. 5 stars, highly recommend and I will be sure to use them again whenever I move in the future.

Tim and Bryan arrived a little early in a snowstorm and worked carefully and quickly to get everything loaded, then followed us to our new location, still in a snowstorm. They then unloaded and placed everything where we asked them to, without damaging furniture or walls, and all this while the snow continued to fall. They couldn't have been better helpers and we were very pleased to have them. They made what could have been a nightmare much easier. We'd definitely hire them again if needed.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We like to give an Eta once its known, you can expect communication on arrival and job progress. On time arrival, courteous and respectful movers.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
All we ask from our customers is guidance! Of course we would like everything packed and ready but that's not always the case, So if you can just let us know where everything goes, any pre-cautions, or requests we will take care of the rest! (We don't mind helping to finish up some packing here and there.)
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done long distance and local moves, packing customer belongings, cleaning up after the move. We have move Pods, Pakrats, ABF trailers, u-hauls/upacks. We also move heavy/bulk items such as pianos, gun-safes, and pooltables,etc.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
We have moved literally every year growing up, and I can't tell you how much movers would have made a difference! We love to help take the stress and strain off our customers during this difficult, yet exciting time.

Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 2 hours over the prebooked time.
