One worker showed up on time, and the other was late. The 1st worker was a hard worker, but not familiar with basic loading, stacking and packing techniques and strategies. The 2nd worker needed to be told what to do at every juncture. For just manual labor, the price ($63/hr per person) was steep. Had they possessed some loading skills, it would have been a fair price.

Hi Alan, I wanted to mention that your time was scheduled between 10-11am they got there at 10:45am after contacting you with exact ETA. We also have crew leaders on most jobs, yes these individuals are a little more experienced than others but all of our crew members have experience. I am glad your project was completed within the designated time frame with zero damages. Thank you for sharing your experience, sorry you do not feel we were worth it.

I have to recommend Hire a Helper. There start time was delayed but I have to blame DC traffic instead. They were prepared for the job having tools and the dolly. They worked non-stop for 4 hours plus. They were very respectful and actually took the time to come back and tell me that 2 panes of glass from our china cabinet broke and that they took measurements and will deliver the new pieces at no charge. I definitely recommend both gentlemen and their company.

They were not on time. They were not prepared for the job. The young lady was not physically able to lift the furniture. I am not sure that either individual had ever moved furniture before and were definitely not respectful of the walls or floor surfaces. I will definitely not use Moving With Pride LLC again!

Helpers came a little late due to traffic but they were in constant contact with us to keep us informed.. as soon as they came in they completed the task within one hour instead of booked two hours.. I wish there was a way to set this help up for only one hour if required

You can expect a smooth experience with professional movers who are honest, friendly and fun to work with. Customer satisfaction is our main priority and we aim to met or exceed your expectations.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

You can expect for us to arrive within the scheduled time frame prepared to conquer whatever the project requires.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

Customers should have items that are able to be boxed, in boxes and labeled accordingly. If loading is required they should have blankets and some sort of tie-downs.

What types of moves have you handled?

We have handled all moves. Local, long distance, office, industrial, govt. contracts, you name it we've done it.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

The favorite part is completing difficult task in a minimum amount of time thru methods of expertise and experience that creates a WOW factor for our customers

What training do you provide your crew members?

We provide safety training thru videos and quizzes plus on the job basics and essentials including but not limited to customer interactions, (plt) proper lifting techniques, how to set a desk properly, getting a sofa thru a door and much more.

We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.

Next Day Moves

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.

Refunding Unused Time

We do not refund for any unused time.

Extra Hours

We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
