They broke things. They packed stuff in unstable locations (a box of framed photos in the top of the POD with no restraints). They hooked the restraining strap to the door rails--preventing it from opening until someone managed to get inside and unhook the strap so the door would open....leaving a damaged rail on the POD door. They left early with an uncompleted job. We have a damaged personally borrowed private truck from their inactions. We have to explain to our friend how it was damaged and we have to get the damage fixed...which takes both time and money. And we moved long distance, which makes this all so much harder.

Mover's response:
You were not packed and ready when we arrived and the pod was already loaded. Whomever loaded the pod could have fit the misc. items as the loaded the furniture and boxes. By the time we got there the only thing left was loose misc. items. So we had to do the best we could with the situation. Loading is a puzzle game and when you loaded the pod you left out some pieces of the puzzle that should of been loaded with the stackable items. We do admit to the tall book case being blown over by the wind and leaving a wood mark on the rear light of the truck which we gave you and $80 refund that you agreed to and seemed happy about. You were right there when it happened and said it was an act of god because the wind blew it over and not our fault. We repeatedly asked you and your son if that was everything that you needed to load in the pod as you were trying to find boxes to pack stuff, and you said that was it and everything was done. I am so taken aback by your review which is almost as equivalent to a "Karen" moment. I was there personally so I know exactly what took place and you were not unhappy when we left. Smh

They were absolutely amazing. They arrived on time and were extremely flexible with all of the outstanding circumstances that were going on- which is a marker of true professionalism. I’ve done a lot of moves over the past decade or so (16), and these were by far the best movers I’ve had. Ever. The next time I move, I’m definitely giving them a call.

TLDR; It's a scam.

The movers were late, unprepared, inexperienced, and moved at a glacial speed. It took SEVEN hours to load a 16' POD container for a 2 bedroom apartment on a second floor with full use of two elevators. I felt bad for the kids because moving is hard work and tipped them nonetheless but I cannot in good faith recommend this company. I think they're running a scam of moving extremely slow so they can bill more hours, showing up without tools (despite it being specified in writing) and loading the container wrong so that they can take advantage of desperate people as they are on stressful time crunches since the movers conveniently could not fit in a brand new king size mattress or futon so they asked if we could donate it to a friend that could pick it up immediately. We were already so far behind and on a deadline to turn our keys in to the apartment that we hardly had a choice. At some point they claimed our large flat screen TV couldn't fit either but my husband moved an awkwardly placed vacuum cleaner in the POD and all of a sudden it fit... I truly hate to write negative reviews and accuse anyone of running a scam but I have all of the pictures/emails/receipts to prove it. The apartment complex was shocked that it took so long to move out, we set a record. I had originally booked them to load and unload the container and contacted the manager, LeSique, to express my concerns and his response was slick and unsatisfactory to say the least. We got scammed and learned our lesson, they lost our business for the unloading.

Scam, be very careful of how you choose your words today. Sounds like "defamation of character" to me if I've ever heard one before. However, we understand you booked us for 3 hours and expected it to take that long. You mentioned on the phone that it took 3 hours to move in. Please keep in mind that unloading is much different than loading and less time consuming. When loading you have to puzzle specific pieces in and secure as you go. When unloading, not much critical thinking is involved, you just grab and go. Your situation as you know was different because you had to catch 2 separate elevators on top of the long hallway to get to the loading zone. I am sure your husband explained this to you because he was there and you were not there. He was there the entire time and witnessed the time it took to get done what was done. You return expecting 3 hours and obviously upset. We are professional movers and we can't never tell exactly how long a project will take unless we come across the exact same project we completed before which is rare, and even that can differ.

Customers should have items that are able to be boxed, in boxes and labeled accordingly. If loading is required they should have blankets and some sort of tie-downs.
