The guys arrived right on time and after a quick assessment got right to work. They were very careful with the furniture and the walls in the house. There were a couple of big pieces that needed to go up a challenging stairway, but they handled them expertly. I would use them again without hesitation.

Having been through 4 previous moves with professional movers I can say the two individuals from Big Boy Movers were the slowest. I hired them for 2 hours and they unloaded maybe half of a 26 foot truck. The movers who loaded were able to pack a 26 foot truck and trailer in 2 hours with 3 people. Unloading should be faster. They also broke a book shelf. To be fair, it could have broken in the truck during transport but they didn't mention it. I found it broken after they left. I would have expected to be told about damage they found/caused but there was no mention of it.
They showed up on time, were clean in their appearance and friendly but based on their performance I would not use them again.
The movers showed up 10 minutes before start time, and you pulled up 15 minutes late and expected 2 movers to unload a 26ft truck and a 16ft truck in under 2 hours. The national average for a 26ft unload is 2/3 hours depending on things like stairs (which there was) and tight corners (which there also was). The movers let you know when they arrived it wasn't going to be done in that time. The book shelf was a stapled back kids shelf that needed new staples in the back that could be easily fixed and was around the same condition of the rest of the furniture items that came out of the truck, regardless we are sorry you had a unpleasant experience with our company.
