Amazing helpers. I am blown away for how quickly they worked while also caring for our things. They were courteous and professional. The movers were very friendly and outgoing. They had to stay an extra 45 minutes, it seemed to take a long time to pick which box they were going to carry down next. I had to pay an extra $100, which was very frustrating.
It was also next to impossible to get a hold of Helping Hand Movers. I left at least 5 voice messages and called a dozen times, with no response. I ended up calling the national number in order to change the moving date. Very frustrating!

They were careful and courteous. The situation was difficult as they had to navigate through the underground garage, up the elevator and down the hallway to our condo. That took more time than we anticipated.

They were late in arriving if they planned to finish the job in two hours, which they didn’t! They were double booked and much more concerned about getting to next appointment than completing ours. They left the work site and we were left stranded. I’m 80 years old and my wife is 70 and we let you know we were elderly. We felt abandoned and were not able to meet our departure schedule. They were pleasant, but not concerned at all about our plight. Very disappointed!! So disappointed that had to hire another company to complete the job. The pod driver who came to pick up the pod was appalled by the quality of the work and said “please tell me you’re not paying for this.”

Overall great job. It was amazing how they fit everything in, it looked like there was more than it could the pod would hold.
I wish they had made better use of moving blankets I purchased for the furniture. They were antique.
My pod has yet to arrive I will no for sure how they did.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
After booking with us you can expect a confirmation that will go over all the details of the job and make sure we are prepared for your move!
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
On the day of moving my crew will send an eta text letting you know how long it will take them to get there. Once they arrive they will do a walk through with you and you can show them what you are expecting to get done. My team lead will assess it and figure out how they can best get it done. They will make sure you are good with everything and see if you have any questions!
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
You can prepare by having all your boxes packed and sealed shut, have any furniture wrapped or secured tightly. We can assist with wrapping furniture if needed!
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done all sorts of moves. Anything from local, long distance, office moves, storage units, residential, warehouse and much more. We have seen it all!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part about being movers is meeting new people all the time. I love getting to make connections with people and being there to support them on such a special day. Moving can be an amazing thing and a hard thing for some, so I love being the one to make the process as easy and as relaxing as it can be.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our crew members receive an online course that shows them the basics of how to properly lift and handle peoples belongings. We then bring them on a job to shadow our team lead and watch the correct way to get things done. Once they have an understanding we will get them on a smaller job where they can start slow and ask questions. The more practice the better they can get!
