Friendly but in a HUGE rush. They damaged so many things of mine. They drug my expensive mattress on the ground outside to get it to the moving truck, my bedside tables are scratched and dented, they put water softener salt bags on a wooden shelf, which completely broke it, they ran into walls and severely scratched up my wood floors. I had to spend an hour repairing damage to the house I’m moving out of. I tipped them $150 cash about an hour into the move b/c they were doing great at that time and I wanted that to continue (I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to tip cash until I saw the invoice that said not to). They looked at me strangely and asked “Is THIS the tip?” As if it wasn’t enough. I was offended. I had hired them for 4 hours, they sped their way through most of it in 2 hours and took off. I still had more things to load! Will NEVER hire them back.

I wanted to think about what happened with our move and I had mixed feelings. But the bottom line is there was not a major issue. One of the guys showed up 40 minutes late but the other fellow worked his butt off to get done in 2 hours. I was concerned that some of the boxes were handled pretty rough and some things might get broken. So far so good but there are some Keepsakes still packed. By comparison to the guys the unloaded these guys seemed they could care less but the results say otherwise. As for Hire A Helper the insurance plan should be better presented up front as in SUBMIT AN INVENTORY BEFORE YOUR MOVE TO GET COVERAGE.
