Jimmy and Alex were fantastic! They we're friendly, hard working and did a fantastic job packing the 26 foot truck and utilizing all the space. They were Very professional! We arrived in WNY and not one thing was broken or damaged!!! I cannot thank them enough! The price was decent and The gentleman that answered the phone when I called to confirm was very friendly as well. I would recommend this company!!

After some problems with their previous job before ours, they arrived quite late, after calling and letting us know. They were very efficient and did a good job of uploading and placing things where we wanted them. I was pleased at how quickly they worked, no resting or visiting to slow them down. A job well done.

This has been a terrible experience by this service. I was recommended to use this service by Pods to hire Southern Cross Moving. Were they on time? No they were an hour and a half late, called them when they were an Hour late and were told they should arrive soon. Were they prepared for the job? They were prepared to complete the job the way they wanted and not as we were asking them to, which was to handle our property with care. Did they work hard? They worked as hard as possible with little or no concern for our property. Were they respectful of your property and goods? Absolutely Not. Would you use them again? Definitely Not!!
I was told that a representative would be contacting us from the movers to provide repairs to the property damaged by their mover, no call was ever received. When I contacted Hire a Helper, they assured me a quick response from them and Southern Cross Moving, neither has been quick to respond.
After filing a claim with Hire a Helper they have offered $90 to repair the Chippendale door that the mover ripped off the hinges.
I would not recommend using Hire a Helper or Southern Cross Moving.

Brian the lead was very courteous and helpful along with Marvin and Jerod. They worked very well together. It was obvious they knew exactly how to organize our furniture carefully placing the pieces of the puzzle together and make it all fit. The guys (Theo and Ray) understood how to load a POD and I was impressed with how much they got in it! Very respectful of my furniture/boxes. Worked hard and finished a little earlier than anticipated. They did not have tools with them and I needed to call a neighbor to get a wrench that was needed. If they had tools with them, I would have given 5 stars.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Upon booking us we will reach out with a courtesy call upon accepting your order and getting details about your move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
If booking a morning job the guys will call when leaving the shop with gps arrival time. If afternoon arrival we will keep the customer up to date with the crews progress on current job.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Box up all miscellaneous items such as lamps, pictures and small items. If needed we can supply packing materials and labor. Make sure they have all personal items they need for their trip put aside.
What types of moves have you handled?
We travel all over the U.S.A and have loaded shipping containers to go all over the world. If it needs to be moved we can get it there, worldwide.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part about this business is helping people that don't have the time or physical ability to do it themselves. I hear from a lot of our customers how they moved themselves so many times but are just to old to do it anymore. That is we come in for their first experience with paid movers to show them how stress free it can be at an affordable price.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All crew members are ran through a wrapping and loading class at our warehouse before going on their first job. Proper technique on wrapping furniture to minimize damage and then loading of trucks,pods, and storage units.

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.

We do not refund for any unused time.

We can always stay at least 2 hours over the prebooked time.
