I moved from Missouri to Florida when everything I own was delivered it was junk. It was so bad I couldn't even get the doors of the pod open. When I finally got the doors open everything fell out. My 50 inch tv on the bottom of the pile. I don't think any of my stuff wasn't damaged. The company has not done anything about my problem. I sent pictures but that wasn't good enough. They wanted closer pictures and far away pictures. I know what this is about. No matter what pics I send will be good enough. Please I beg you don't use this company. Gonna have to go to court.

Overall, we would highly recommend Southern Cross Moving. The 4 men who unloaded our pods were nice, respectful and very hard working. Communication was great. They called to confirm the order and schedule the arrival time. The morning they were supposed to show, they called to say there were running 15-20 minutes late. Then they called back about an hour before they were supposed to arrive and said they would be an hour late. We weren't in a time crunch so the delay wasn't an issue for us. I'm guessing they would be more timely if they knew someone needed that.

We didn't get off to a good start. I receive a phone call indicating they would be here in 10-15 minutes. After nearly an hour I called them back to discover they had issues with their transportation and expected to arrive in 15 minutes. This time they arrived. We briefly went over my expectations and they went to work. Overall they were careful with everything and they had pleasant attitudes during the whole process. Even with the late start they completed on time. I would happily engage then again for similar services.

Did not arrive on time. We called multiple times and they said they were on there way and would be there in 15 minutes. Rather than telling us the truth. Quite frustrating. They arrived 2 1/2 hours late with 2 people and I requested 3 people fir 3 hours. We did most of the loading ourselves prior to them arriving. Quite disappointed and they gave us a 20% discount. Not enough of a discount or would have given a higher rating.

The guys were fantastic! They arrived on time, immediately got to work unloading a truck and carefully but quickly got everything off and into the house in place. In fact, they worked so fast that we were able to go to the old house and load the truck again, take it to the new house, and unload it in the time I had allotted for simply unloading the first truck. They were careful, quick, friendly, and I would absolutely use them again. I could not recommend them more highly.

They also were very knowledgeable in how to pack utilizing every space in the storage pods. I certainly would recommend and use them again if needed.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Upon booking us we will reach out with a courtesy call upon accepting your order and getting details about your move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
If booking a morning job the guys will call when leaving the shop with gps arrival time. If afternoon arrival we will keep the customer up to date with the crews progress on current job.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Box up all miscellaneous items such as lamps, pictures and small items. If needed we can supply packing materials and labor. Make sure they have all personal items they need for their trip put aside.
What types of moves have you handled?
We travel all over the U.S.A and have loaded shipping containers to go all over the world. If it needs to be moved we can get it there, worldwide.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part about this business is helping people that don't have the time or physical ability to do it themselves. I hear from a lot of our customers how they moved themselves so many times but are just to old to do it anymore. That is we come in for their first experience with paid movers to show them how stress free it can be at an affordable price.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All crew members are ran through a wrapping and loading class at our warehouse before going on their first job. Proper technique on wrapping furniture to minimize damage and then loading of trucks,pods, and storage units.
