Thomas and David were awesome got everything fit in the POD and treated all our stuff really nicely.

This two man team were all business. I had a two hour window with them. They loaded a pod of all my heavy stuff in a way I would never have thought of. I believed before they loaded it i was not going to have enough room. But when I finished loading it I got everything in . I would advise everyone to use this service. I am 65 and just did not want to struggle with it. Thanks guys

Thomas and David were EXCELLENT!!
They knew what they were doing, I just showed them what had to be moved and where and worked above and beyond my expectations, they packed the pod perfectly and took great care for my Antique pieces of furniture!! Worked well together with fast results!! They handled the task at hand with ease and I didnt have to supervise their every move like I've had to before!!

Omg best movers I’ve ever had. They took their time packing the pod ensuring everything would fit so that it won’t break while in transit. They were very polite and curious. I would use them again.

Movers were on time and I especially loved Tom's work ethic. He was professional and worked very hard the entire two hours. Both men were very efficient and used the time very well. They carried all the heavy items very carefully and arranged the POD intelligently. I would absolutely recommend them and would use them again for another move.

We had a good loader, unfortunately we were paying for a team of two. The second member of the team was always distracted by his phone or smoke breaks and a lunch break (during what was booked as a three hour job). Because it was obvious to the team leader that the ineffective team member was the reason for the slow load we were not charged for more than our initial time block, even though the load took almost twice as long as they projected when they looked at the amount of boxes and furniture to be loaded after arriving that day. While we appreciate that, we would have preferred to have the efficient loading team we thought we had booked.

My home was being renovated, so this was a load/unload a container. Move Ahead was on time both times and did a great and careful job. The worked steadily and efficiently and were friendly. They were prepared and had the required equipment.I will be doing a "phase 2" renovation and will definitely use them again.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
After booking with us you can expect a phone call from our offices just to reach out and get a feel for your unique situation. We will go over all needed supplies and firm up all the details.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Upon moving day you will receive a call from your movers within an hour of your booked arrival window. The movers will reach out just to make sure everything is still going according to plan and will give you their expected GPS arrival time. We know that nothing is more stressful than being nervous that the movers aren't gonna show up, so we like to put your mind at ease.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
If you will be hiring us to load your rental truck, trailer or portable shipping container it is imperative that you provide an adequate amount of moving blankets, plastic stretch wrap and rope to avoid serious damage to your items. The blankets can usually be rented with your truck or portable shipping container and are worth every penny. We can provide rope and plastic wrap for an additional fee or it can be purchased at Lowe's or Home Depot in the moving supplies section.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled literally every type of move from local to long distance, from household to office/commercial. We have handled everything from medical equipment to flight simulators and we are equipped to move large items such as pianos and grand pianos.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part about being movers is that we get to help someone with literally the hardest and most stressful task of their adult life.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All of our crew leaders are required to have a minimum of 4 years professional moving experience and upon hire, undergo at least 2 weeks of training with the owner of the company (a very particular veteran mover in the industry) before being set free to operate independently. All crew members undergo the same training and we typically only hire crew members who possess at least 2 years minimum professional moving experience. We don't send rookies, period.
