Very pleased. Team arrived on time and packed our truck in a little over an hour with a team of three. The packing was done really well as I saw little to no shifting of the items in the truck when I unloaded today. Very pleasant and personable - saved me killing my back as my daughter had an injury and would not have been able to help me.

My movers were 2 1/2 hours late which was a significant problem because I was driving 2 hours to catch a plane. But the two guys that showed up did an Amazing job. They knew I was stressed out and they really hustled. I fault the guy from the job ahead of mine that really messed up the company's schedule but it's hard to be charitable when you've got a time table that you've got to meet. I did make my plane and the only reason I made it was because the two guys that showed up did an excellent job. So I give the company a B rating but I give their movers an A+ rating.

I hired Maurice Caicedo of Florida's Reliable Moving Services for four hours at $780.30. After confirming my moving arrangements with Maurice on the phone, I was left with a bad feeling that I made a poor choice for movers. My suspicions were confirmed when Florida's Less Than Reliable Moving Services was a NO SHOW. The real con was revealed when I learned Maurice was double booked and instead of being honest he hired a lesser rated crew for $565.00 hoping I wouldn't notice so he could pocket $215.30 for a job he never did. Nice try Maurice but no cigar! Definitely unethical and possibly bordering on criminal fraud. I would caution anyone considering hiring this person, your probably going to regret it one way or another. I contacted Hire-A-Helper and advised them and they promptly refunded the difference and credited " A Move Ahead Movers" who did a fantastic and professional job for me. Their work was excellent and well above my expectations. If you want honest movers that will give more than you pay for and take pride in their work, then you better hire " A Move Ahead Movers ". You can trust their work and enjoy the feeling that you got more than you paid for, very nice people.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
After booking with us you can expect a phone call from our offices just to reach out and get a feel for your unique situation. We will go over all needed supplies and firm up all the details.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Upon moving day you will receive a call from your movers within an hour of your booked arrival window. The movers will reach out just to make sure everything is still going according to plan and will give you their expected GPS arrival time. We know that nothing is more stressful than being nervous that the movers aren't gonna show up, so we like to put your mind at ease.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
If you will be hiring us to load your rental truck, trailer or portable shipping container it is imperative that you provide an adequate amount of moving blankets, plastic stretch wrap and rope to avoid serious damage to your items. The blankets can usually be rented with your truck or portable shipping container and are worth every penny. We can provide rope and plastic wrap for an additional fee or it can be purchased at Lowe's or Home Depot in the moving supplies section.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled literally every type of move from local to long distance, from household to office/commercial. We have handled everything from medical equipment to flight simulators and we are equipped to move large items such as pianos and grand pianos.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part about being movers is that we get to help someone with literally the hardest and most stressful task of their adult life.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All of our crew leaders are required to have a minimum of 4 years professional moving experience and upon hire, undergo at least 2 weeks of training with the owner of the company (a very particular veteran mover in the industry) before being set free to operate independently. All crew members undergo the same training and we typically only hire crew members who possess at least 2 years minimum professional moving experience. We don't send rookies, period.
